Even if you remove all the fillers, there are still 54 volumes to adapt, which are not few.

Surely it would take more than 100 episodes to adapt them all.

In comparison, the volumes of HX pre arc of the chimeras are much less.
Yeah, but Bleach was a series that story wise pretty much nothing would happen during the weekly chapters and lended itself well to binging because of how much work Kubo put into flashy panelwork (this is not an insult). You could realistically do a volume an episode at points and have the pacing feel normal.

HxH is much heavier on text than Bleach by a longshot.

I’m saying that I don’t find it unrealistic that it could get a 150-200ish episode remake of a studio/staff is really up for it.
Bleach is one of the most successful manga of all time, so I could see a studio and staff being willing to do it

A better paced Bleach anime can end within 100-150 episodes. 3-4 bleach chapters at least can fit a well paced episode, if not more.
Impossible.

If we think that in good paced anime like My Hero in 88 episodes of volumes it will cover 21, in 100 episodes a possible remake would go as far as the appearance of the Arrancar as a minimum.

People do remember Mashle is by a gag mangaka, right?

Also, I just realized, "Mashle" is "Mash" + "Battle". Cute.

Bleach chapters are incredibly short and full of spread pages though. There were entire chapters dedicated to just characters making flashy entrances/revealing bankais so it can easily be adapted with a 4/5 chapters per episode pace. In comparison HxH is so text heavy some chapters feel like novels lmao

HeroAca is far more plot heavy than Bleach, with lots of storylines and changes in focus.

Bleach tends to go for tens of chapters with just fights that rely mostly on Kubo's artwork to be interesting.

Jujutsu Kaisen in first is a surprise, Yuuna in last too, long time since the last one, also does this mean all the newbies above are safe? :derp kkkkk

About the Burn The Witch OVA, really didn't saw that coming, this probably means Bleach will return at some point since there's really no point in making a OVA about a one shot just for the sake of doing, these things always means something more, specially with Bleach reaching 20 years in 2021. But about the "10 movies" thing for BNHA, yeah, thats hard to see actually happening.

Next week first Zipman ranking!

But it would still be a strange move. Not even Dragon Ball when they did the remake, had a complete one (The Kai on 42 volumes covers 25)

Kubo's choices (and his strengths) were the larger panels with cinematic poses and fights.
Heck, the first 150 chapters (end of soul society arc) of Bleach were adapted into 50 episodes. Also keep in mind that during this time, the studio would've tried to make episodes longer to give the manga more room to release chapters.

So I don't understand why you think arrancar appearance itself will only happen by 100 episodes. By 100 episodes, they can reach the finale of the fake karakura town fight. 150 episodes is not unrealistic at all.

If you take two series with 30 volumes, it doesn’t mean that both series will have filler-less anime adaptations around the same length.
Bleach being longer doesn’t necessarily mean that it has twice as long as Dragon Ball Kai.

Also, Dragon Ball Kai wasn’t a pure remake. It just cut some filler out of the original series. And even then, there’s probably way more that could have been cut from Kai. Not all of the filler could be completely cut as some of it was blended in with canon stuff. Like there’s no way they could condense the 20+ Episode original Freeza fight into the 2ish-3 episode that it could realistically be adapted in

Regarding the possibility of a full BLEACH remake, BLEACH finished with 700 or so chapters, and I agree that BLEACH is one of those series that could pretty much get 4-5 chapters adapted into a single episode without much problem (It's more of an action-oriented series), so if we divide 700/4.5 (The number of chapters per anime episode that could get adapted for good pacing) we get 155 episodes.

I think a 155 BLEACH anime is certainly not outside the realm of something that could happen. Gegege no Kitaro and Hunter x Hunter were long remakes, Saint Seiya Omega was a (pretty bad) anime that ran for almost 100 episodes, it's not even a remake of the original Saint Seiya it didn't really have great ratings (IIRC it was broadcasted at like 6:00 am!), and I don't even think I saw Saint Seiya Omega figures (Which is why Saint Seiya anime is made, to sell figurines), but it ran for 100 episodes..

Heck, even the just announced Digimon remake (And Dai no Daiboken, though that's way older than BLEACH) showed us that "long" anime remakes of beloved properties are a thing (They have been for quite a while, Gegege no Kitaro has received a remake/new series almost every decade I think).

So a remake of one of mangas biggest properties of all time is not something impossible, but I still see just adapting the last arc as something way more practical.

I find it weird adapting a one shot that's far away from bleach ( it's true the story under the univers of bleach ) but it's far away from the atmosphere of bleach in genral ( characters & events ) .

if they are really gonna make an ova about this one shot ? what after ?
new serialization for the story as a manga ? or an original anime based on the one shot's the story supervised by tite kubo ?

or it's just a step for the anime's return

eck, the first 150 chapters (end of soul society arc) of Bleach were adapted into 50 episodes
Ehm no, l'episodio 50 è un filler, e il 49 adatta fino al 136.

So I don't understand why you think arrancar appearance itself will only happen by 100 episodes.
Just do two calculations, adapting 2-3 to chapters per episode you can get 25 episodes for 50-52 chapters, 50 for 100 chapters, and so on .....

By 100 episodes, they can reach the finale of the fake karakura town fight. 150 episodes is not unrealistic at all.
But I don't think so, going forward with the rhythm proposed above with 100 episodes they would arrive at the Hueco Mundo at the most

Bleach being longer doesn’t necessarily mean that it has twice as long as Dragon Ball Kai.
You didn't understand, it was referred to the fact that Bleach's remale should cover ALL the volumes released so far before the anime stopped and they are 54. far too many.

When they did the Dragon Ball remake, they did not do it on the whole manga, but only on one part.

And Dai no Daiboken, though that's way older than BLEACH)
But we still don't know how much it will cover

I think a Bleach remake or continuation will definitely happen at some point. It’s just a matter of when.
Will it be in the 2020s? The 2030s? I think it’ll happen, even if that’s not until 20 years from now

What are some other series you'd like to get updated remakes?
Ninku is one in particular I'd love to see with a new adaptation. One that also adapts Second Stage.

Shaman King would be great, but with Takei having sabotaged its recent attempt at a remake, not to mention none of its sequels managing to run more than a year before ending, and the whole rights holders weirdness makes it super unlikely.

I also really wouldn't mind seeing a fully new adaptation of Dragon Ball with super tight pacing. Despite the edits, Kai feels drastically drawn out compared to reading the manga, still, still uses the dated early 90's animation, and only adapts 2/3 of the series!

When they did the Dragon Ball remake, they did not do it on the whole manga, but only on one part.
They did the whole thing, but it wasnt a remake per se, they just used the same footage from the original Z series and cut filler but it did "adapted" the whole DB manga.
