I mean, I think it would make sense for him to make a “Next Generations” manga while the anime spends a year or 2 finishing the series, being ready to animate “The Next Generation” afterwards.

My non-spoiler manga review for Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #9 and my review is completely subjective so it's okay to disagree my points. Let's get started


One Piece Chapter 969

Settings & Character designs: Two new names revealed from the remnants of Kurozumi clan. Ironic that these familiar devil fruits that we've known from the current user (Bon clay & Barto) are very good friends to the Strawhats. Hyo's wife design is fine but sadly her fate is so tragic. Lastly prime Gecko Moria design is S+++ Warlord worthy and i bet it Kaido did strike hard to Moria's chin gone forever.

Manga Panels and Highlights: The Akazaya nine walk double page spread. ...Dear Oda please make the "Walk to Arlong park" from anime into canon.

Overall thoughts: It teaches how to take away your pride just for your love ones and it contrast to Orochi's selfish ambition where he gets nothing at the very end when he met his demise very soon. I love how poetic at the last pages of chapter and it's really rare to write this stuff in modern shonen manga this days.


Undead X Unlock Chapter 2

Settings & Character designs: That first color page is neat. Two new dudes who are the same caliber as the leading characters. One look like a tuxedo mecha and the chinese dress pretty boy named Shen. Nothing extraordinary designs for me as of now.

Manga Panels & Highlights: Man! that panel when the Andy cornered in front of Izumo is so wrong along with the censor thing on his low.

Overall thoughts: Is this manga turned into Romance? Andy feels so horny to Izumo so bad but in contrary Izumo is so lucky to had Andy after i've learned that her power is restricted to touch anyone including the dearest of her which it's sad if you think about it.


Mashles: Magic and Muscles Chapter 1

Settings & Character designs: Am i reading the amateur webcomic from internet? The art is drawn like amateur but it really works well to a gag manga so it didn't bother me and I've seen he copy-paste some panels between here and there. The MC named Mash Vandead who is like Deku at the beginning but without magic and i like the he casually abandon when he is a baby at the rooftop. He is truly amenable and he won my heart. Mash adopted father Regro Vandead who is a failure magician and i like he did love Mash just the way he is. Next is Gildarts ....i mean Brad coleman, a magician police officer that he went from cool to a meme face syndrome when he knew that he mess the wrong guy. And the Semi-fat dude police officer is the true winner in this chapter without questions.

Manga Panels & Highlights: The Intense workout color double page spread and i like the animals did freak out whenever he's on workout too ...Wait it looks familiar? "Onegai muscle meccha motetaaaai! Onegai muscle meccha yasetaai yes!". Ok! back to review, this manga had a lot of references from existing mangas and here it is my counting so far.

1. Saitama Ok face
2. Haikyuu volleyball
3. Dribbling from Kuroko no basket
4. Gomu-Gomu no pistol wand
5. Yu-gi-oh close-up big hand pose

Prediction: He will do Jojo pose next.

Overall thoughts: I don't know if people would like this manga but i laugh out loud every single panel despite the art wasn't fantastic but the humor did shine above the rest so it's forgiven. The dialogue is very simple and yet funny but for me i hope the comedy didn't steam out throughout the course of a chapter.

Hmm, Bleach 20th anniversary project + Tite Kubo new work announcement Anime Japan stage just announced

Fuck yeah. Let's go. The fact that the voice actor and nakano are gonna be present means itll be something important. Burn the witch OVA alone wont be a big thing tbh.
Given how it's at anime japan, Bleach's anime return is a possibility.

-Bleach 100 Years War anime
-Bleach sequel manga serialization (featuring Kazui and Ichika)
-Burn the Witch rumored OVA
-Burn the Witch manga serialization

This feels way bigger than the "Kishimoto returns with Samurai 8" (well, Boruto already existed)

I like how Tsurun gave up on finding appealing character designs for the 90 ghosts remaining and is making the public do his/her service. That's the kind of thing you can do only on gag manga lol.

All much more famous than Bleach.

And anyway the Dragon Ball sequel was made a few years after the end of the manga

Cool, I really hope this series works out longer term since I've wanted a new 'fans submit stuff to be in the series' manga. It's always fun to see some fan-interaction shaping the content a little.

How many series like that have we had anyway? I know Toriko used fan-submitted monster designs, One Piece sometimes has it with the fan requested title pages, MHA had that one fan win a hero design contest, but I'm not sure about earlier manga. I feel like I've read something else with fan-designs being a recurring thing but I don't remember what (might have been from another magazine).

I remember Gash Bell did this sort of thing, with fans designing their own demons and stuff, although I don't think any of the fan designs appeared in the story.

I remember Dr. Slump using it with Senbei's inventions. If I'm not wrong, Kinnikuman used it with with its fighters, because Oda's Pandaman was a character he created participating in one of these contests.
