You could put the numbers too since it's the important info, not the positions, you have to go up and down in order to see the title and sales if you're not familiar with the japanese title.

Momoda Sobasuke (Kakuremi) - Kakuremi was the reason I started to download every WSJ issue to take a look at the one-shots. Beautiful art-style and super fun main duo (Especially the main girl, she is awesome <3).

Damn, that was a charming colour page and a lovely artstyle. I would expect this came from Afternoon or Harta instead of WSJ.

Ole Golazo did here due to the heavy Moue fanbase here
It helped that it also had a great first chapter in my opinion. The first goal spread was amazing.
Also this page is still one of the my most memorable pages from sports manga in general.
Moue is still my biggest hope for a return because his talent vastly outweighs his success.

It's pretty funny that Kimetsu no Yaiba Volume 18 total sales are bigger than Volume 1 or even Volume 7 (where Anime ended).

I think it's the first time that I see total sales from an "advance Volume" are bigger than total sales from first Volumes :XD

KNY 18 has officially surpassed OP 95 becoming the best selling volume of the year so far and will probably end the year being the #1 volume (that's if other new KNY volumes don't surpass it). It has also sold more than the entire backlog, which is a very rare thing. The rest of the backlog is just the usual stuff lol. OP 95 is behind by a whopping 100k when compared to OP 94, will be easily surpassed by other KNY volumes if they perform like KNY 18. Meanwhile, SXF 3 is a whopping 110k ahead of SXF 2, really curious to see the series's numbers when volume 4 comes out. Also, SXF 1 being so close to 600k show how monstruous the series is. TPN 17 is behind by 24k when compared to volume 16, it's performing just like MHA 25. HQ 41 is ahead by 20k, a small improvement, but still a win.
Behind by 100K? Good lord, Wano must be tiring on people...

You're not following any WSJ series currently?
Nope. Put a pause on everything back in July. So it's been half a year since I read anything from WSJ. Only series I keep reading weekly is Kingdom, which is WYJ.
Edit - Should add that prior to July, I read few manga in WSJ but not on a consistent regular basis. Just when I managed to find time.

Its funny. Just before KNY boost, we were talking on this forum about when we will see the next big thing. Many argued this would not happen again. Kimetsu heard ya'll and went "this isn't even my final form".

Yes. I noticed this the entire duration of this growth. It's a very strange anomaly. Probably means this growth still has a way to go before it goes down.

Had to rewrite half the numbers in the post cause I got confused and thought everyone was on their 5th week because OP 95 is but the other series are all on their 4th week lol. Sorry.

TPN 17 is behind by only 5k when compared to volume 16, really nice. HQ 41 is ahead by 37k, a nice improvement, hoping it keeps these numbers for a while longer.

Yup, OP 94 had sold 1,828,286 copies in its fifth week.
It's kinda amusing because, reading interviews with editor Naito, Wano was supposed to get back readers who'd drifted from the series in the mean time. And yet its accomplished the exact opposite effect.

I first got introduced to One Piece through the 4kids anime years ago when I was younger, I actually got really hooked specially with the Arlong arc, then one day they stopped airing it so I lost track of it. Basically from the time I didnt really knew about the terms of manga, anime or Jump lol.

Only learned about it being from Jump years later. It wasnt until I think 2013-2014 when I decided to get back into it, starting it weekly with from Dressrosa onwards, at times I live it hanging to bing read some of the chapters

Dr. Stone had ridiculous hype when it was announced.
Ole Golazo did here due to the heavy Moue fanbase here.
Ah, really? I haven't been on the forum for too long. Though it is funny you mention Dr. Stone, since the big batch with it, We Never Learn, and Robot x Laserbeam was actually when I began to start following the magazine closely, learning about the TOC and all. After reading the first couple chapters of each, I had hoped that the three series I mentioned would all avoid the axe, since I liked them the most. I guess 2.5 outta 3 ain't bad. (RxL did last longer than the usual Jump flop, but it was still axed at the end anyways.)

Spy x Family won as the most recommended manga by bookstores in all of Japan in 2020. 2nd place was Chainsaw Man.

Good lord, once the anime comes out for this... it's already doing so well both critically (it's racking up awards and acclaim like nobody's business) and commercially. With an anime boost, it could possibly outsell all of the Jump magazines barring Kimetsu and One Piece.

KnY beating OP's individual volume sales made me think:

Guys suppose you were the editor of One Piece or Shueisha's marketing team, what would you do in order to attract new readers?
Or do you think One Piece pretty much reached all its potential readers? (Of course not literally but like it will only get very "few" new readers).

I ask because according to this graph a lot of OP readers are in their 40s+, I remember back when I watched Film Gold in Tokyo the entire theater was full up to like the 9 pm screening and the entire screening was full of 20+ people (Which is understandable I guess because it was 9:00 pm, so maybe late for kids).. but the point I'm trying to make is I think that One Piece's editorial team really should focus on trying to get more young readers.

It's pretty obvious when you think about it but One Piece started in 1997 that's 23 (!) years ago, so if say you started reading back then at 10, you are now 33!

I was thinking that maybe a seasonal anime remake with great production values could maybe reach the 20-year-old audience but not the kids (Since these anime are broadcasted late), and besides I don't think any other studio but Toei can make an anime adaptation (As in they are the one studio with the rights to the One Piece anime property).

But if the same graph I posted still holds true and only 12% of One Piece are 1-18 years old (Which would be 10-28 years old right now, since that graph is from 2011, almost a decade old) then most One Piece readers are 30+ years old, which there's nothing wrong with that, quite the opposite as they can spend money on lots of merchandise, but there's still a huge chunk of people not reading OP.

That made me think that perhaps this is the people buying Kimetsu no Yaiba volumes like crazy lol, it would be nice to have some demographic charts about KnY readers.

About the demographic charts, this was the most recent one after the anime ended, mostly women on its 30 and 40s. But i guess shueshia will release theirs with more concrete info

Some MHA stuff from the past days.

Episode 15 got another rating of over 4.0, totalling 9 out of 14 episodes (episode 1 was not rated because of the delay) that had ratings over or equal to 4.0. The series has pretty much become a staple.

Heroes Rising has crossed 1.55 billion yen in gross (approximately 14.21 million USD) with 1.21 million admissions. It's on par with the second film's gross so it should end its run grossing about the same or a bit less since this week it got a boost from 4D exhibitions.
