Not for Hunter.
It's most recent volume's sales have dropped a lot from its peak, it didn't pass 1 million before falling off the charts which previous ones did.

The veteran author recommendation on ACT-AGE Volume 10 is from Osamu Akimoto. Really didn't expect that, what a pleasant surprise!
Big senior, more like the legend with a 40-year-uninterrupted serialization. So damn happy for Act-Age, this and Matsui's comment are just amazing.

Well, don't know what happened to 36, but the constant hiatuses didn't seem to affect the sales before. It might be the direction of the arc itself then.

One Piece has been gradually declining most of the time since the timeskip hasn't it? There was no chance of it holding up those insane sales forever. I'm actually curious about when the current sales compare to, what volumes pre-Marineford sold about the same as it's doing right now?

I can see the Wano arc being part of the reason though tbh, this arc has felt like it's had a huge amount of pointless chapters even by OP's usual standards. Also since the setting is just exaggerated Japan it's not that interesting compared to a giant elephant city of furries and an island chain made entirely from food.

Not to mention the strawhats don't even matter to the story at all, this arc more than any other is clearly Oda just writing a whole new series with a new cast under the guise of making the next One Piece island.

Akimoto recommending Act-age is big. And how the story is going right now I hope some rise in sales soon.

I think Act-age will be able to beat Dr.Stone and Black Clover in the near future when-if it gets anime announcement.

Last 6 volumes before Marineford (50-53 are Sabaody, 53-54 are Amazon Lily and 54-55 are Impel Down. Marineford starts on 55) and the last 6 volumes which all include Wano. Coincidentally, pre-Marineford is when Oricon started tracking sales. Sales for Wano have been better for those volumes, however, OP 95 is almost on pre-Marineford level.

SXF and CSM topping the most recommended manga and AA getting a rec from Akimoto makes me expect even bigger things from those series in the future. AA will most definitely surpass those two those two. Now to see if Akimoto's rec has an immediate effect on AA's sales and if SXF and CSM will also get a boost in the upcoming months.

speaking of boost, Spy and Chainsaw could get on Manga Taisho award list, and potentially Tezuka award list, another potential boost.

Horikoshi has reached 1 million followers on twitter. He'll probably post a sketch to celebrate it soon.

This makes Horikoshi just the third mangaka to reach that number. The first one was Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail), second one was Sui Ishida (Tokyo Ghoul), and it also makes him the very FIRST WSJ mangaka to do so.

The drop in the past few volumes is VERY visible. Strange fluctuation between 92 and 93 where 93 is a 100k above 92 despite having 50 days less sales.
95 seems to be sorta on par with 92 so maybe in 150 days, it'll sell 2 million.

This makes Horikoshi just the third mangaka to reach that number. The first one was Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail), second one was Sui Ishida (Tokyo Ghoul), and it also makes him the very FIRST WSJ mangaka to do so.
Didn't Kubo have a lot of followers as well before he deleted his account due to people bullying him? His new account has about 100k.

They should've just mentioned the BIGGEST author recommendation.

Maybe got to the bottom of it. Pretty sure it's Hyoryu Kyoshitsu (Drifting Classroom).

And that would make sense because Takeuchi said she watched it all in an afternoon, which confused me if they were talking about manga, but the series got a film adaptation in 1987.
The film adaptation is wicked. Done by Nobuhiko Obayashi who did classics like Hausu and Sada.

The hiatus also affects the sales. It's rare for a series to be stable, let alone increase sales when it takes many unpredictable breaks.
...Are you confusing One Piece with HxH?
One Piece will take weekly breaks every 3 weeks which Shueshia had to force him into. Not extended hiatuses I don't think ever.

I think he did. But I don't think he ever hit the 1M mark. If he did, it would've been mentioned around the community.
