So, looking at the votes on the weekly JP poll, it seems the latest Yozakura has been getting a lot of positive attention. I'm seeing votes for it keep coming up, when there were practically none beforehand.

As I said before. When it starts to look like a series MAY end up becoming a hit, you’ll see that the overall reception suddenly goes up, and more supporters start popping up, despite there not seeming like there were many supporters before

Nope. No one seems to directly have the Nikkei Magazine interview on-hand.

Why you ask?

A few more chapters into it, and and Undead Unluck and Guardian of the Witch are shaping up okay. UU has managed to keep the action going while doing a bit of world building, though I'm not sure how the series will do when it has to finally slow down. GotW has been a bit info dumpy, but has a set goal, and has set up the basis for some action. Mashle has fallen flat with me. It's definitely aiming to be chiefly a Harry Potter parody using ONE humor. Which does not work for me. No idea how it'll do long term with other people, but I have no further interest in reading the series.

Agravity Boys is still going strong and seems pretty confident in it's direction. Zipman on the other hand is clearly struggling. I'm not sure if it's rushing ahead to material planned for later in a bid to improve reception, or if it's staring down the barrel of being the first Jump series in a year to be given only two volumes and is make preparations to end. All told it seems like it has an uphill battle ahead of it.

Interesting week for the series !

- Yozakura is till doing great with is serious arc, hopefully it will continue in this direction !
- Mitama was fun but I'm not that into it anymore.
- Zipman, I really love the art style, but the story is meh imo. I hope it will do better in his next arc as this one seems to be ending.
- Agrivity Boys : Still so much fun to read, the addition of the creatures of the planet is a great idea ! I hope it will sell decently and stay in the mag !
- UxU : Ok chapter, nothing much to say about it, I'll wait to see how the story will be developped
- Mashle : Really cool chapter, some obvious reference to a well known wizard, and it starts to introduce new characters. I just hope it will not just be a Harry Potter fun manga as there is already tons of reference to it right now.
- GOTW : Great chapter, I loved the vibes in this one, I got Soul Eater vibes too, just because to people team up to be one but its a good concept IMO. Plus the art is still super cool. I'm looking forward to it !
