Another great issue of Jump, enjoyed everything besides Guardian and Mashle, their potential is being wasted big time. Agravity's creative well has already run dry, but its predictable jokes still got me, but damn, the author is real desperate judging from this new character designs.
Also much respect for Shibata for already working on wrapping it up and going out with a bang, unlike most authors last year who just coasted around until they unceremoniously ended it at 30 chapters (except for Double Taisei's madness, loved every second of that coasting), wasting their time and a spot in the mag. I just hope this is a sign of things to come at Jump, because they cant afford this much longer.
The first transformers is great, but it just doesn't save the entire series.
It's not like Bay only made those garbage sequels and nothing else. There is an art even to the over the top, low brow, guy movies, and he is a master of that with Bad Boys, The Rock or Pain and Gain. While Undead Unluck delivers on that too, and creatively at that, which already sets it apart from the rest in Jump, in my opinion that is still selling it way, way short. But six chapthers are also too early to make that judgement, so lets wait and see if it can live up the potential in those hints of worldbuilding and unique motivations squeezed between all that crazy action.
