Neither Urek or Luslec are Floor rulers
You are heavily underestimating Doom he is clearly stronger than Elpathion and was a Slayer candidate, had Yama not intervened he would be a Slayer
He is most likely on the level of 2nd gen Slayers
I gave It a range, not rank.

He was a literal slayer.
My bad
I think Prime Doom is at the strength of 2nd generation slayers with Yama's full full transformation being 1st generation whilst Luslec is on a completely different tier

Btw there seems to be a misunderstanding about evankhell guys , it looks people believe she fought the whole 4th army corp but that was never the case , just kallavan was noted to have a power equal or greater than a whole corps.
At the last station evankhell fought Ephalthion the VC and the 1st division and now at the nest she is fighting ephalthion, the 1st division, the detached unit and the LPB renforcement.
Looks to me like people forgot an army corp is composed of 4 divisions and so far evan’ Never fought even 2 divisions at the same time.
Note that at LS chunhee was dealing with the hostage and their division was fighting Karaka and co, 3rd division was with kallavan and the 4th wich is now diriged by traitor khun was never shown.

The second generation of Slayer, was the generation of White, I doubt that Doom even at its peak can compare to White at that time.

I find it difficult to establish levels with branch heads because each family has a different structure. In the case of LPBs, there are many indications that the heads of each branch are DDs who receive one of FH's favorite beasts. However there are 20 branches, I doubt that they are all at the same level as the 8th child is probably. And you have the Ha who don't have DDs other than the twins, but they all descend from 2 strains of FH. And we have the Koon, where it seems that Eduan's wives are the branch heads.

In the case of the floor leader, there is always the question of the special contracts they have with the guardian of that floor in specific, so it is relative, in addition to other reasons mentioned here. In the end, for now, I think it is more plausible to use Zahard's army as a parameter. It's easier and we have a clearer form of the difference in strength in the army.

Hey guys! I'm curious about what you guys think about the power levels of these positions? In my opinion a branch leader should be stronger than a squadron commander because they are most likely direct decendants of the family heads. Also, if you ask me ruler isn't beneath squadron commanders...but at the same time rulers are not something you can joke about because they own a entire floor and not just anyone has the power to own a floor. It showcases how strong they are.
I look at it a different way. Instead of comparing branch leaders to squad leaders, lets invert the formula and see how many squads there are and how many total branches there are in the tower. This is just simple logic and might be wrong but if there are only 5 to 10 squads and at the least 20 branches in lo po boa, its a simple statistic that squad leaders are more rare (Stronger) than branch heads.

You would only put the most capable in the squad leader position. Although I admit the talent pool in each family is limited compared to being able to pick anyone in the tower to be a squad leader (who wouldnt want that honor.)

Sheer statistics are on the side of squad leaders however, that doesnt mean that there isnt the outlier branch head that is top 50 or so.

If you held a gun to my head I would say squad leaders are the overall higher ranks in the tower, as well as, the stronger of the two. Of course this could all be wrong and I'm completely missing something here when it comes to the number of squads compared to the total number of branches in the tower.

Also I define a squad as having at least one whole division possibly more but being the maximum unit to describe all the soldiers on the battlefield.

So it would look like this

Platoon (smallest)
Company
Division
Squad (largest)

Where squad encompasses all the others above it.

For me this is an odd way to look at it giving in the American army a squad based group is basically 3 to 6 people being the smallest number of people assisgned to group based tactics (not counting battle buddies in this equation for other soldiers out there wondering.)

Of course I'm willing to listen to other arguements as well and im not saying this is correct in anyway. Just my perspective SO FAR.

It was said that Jahad army contains only 4 squads exist in s2, so there is a high chance that the 5th was just recently formed as a preparation for the incoming wars.

Yeah so only 5 people in the entire tower hold that position while there are at least 20 branches in the lo po bia. Simple logic and numbers are on the side of the squadrons, but like i said, there could always be an outlier in the mix.

Exactly, it's also confirmed by Dokoko's feats. Frankly speaking, fighting the current Doom, who is far below his prime, who in turn is so massively weaker than FT Yamah he was literally terrified by him, isn't something really impressive. He seems more like a vice-squad commander tier (someone like Elpathion), maybe even divison commander, rather than a real squad commander.

Where was it said the total number of squads? AFAIK, that's speculation based on the number given at the time (4 in S2 and 5 in S3). So we assume there are 5 squads now. And even this assumes no gaps or retired squad numbers.

For all we know there are 10 squads. Or 20. Although that would be overkill and FUG should just kill themselves if that's the case...

So are you saying LPB branch = squadron ?

No. Not sure where you're getting that.

I'm only inquiring as to how many squads there are total. Or maybe they're called Army Corps. Whatever it is that Yas and Kallavan lead.

We assume 5, now (because we have seen since S3 there is one called the 5th) Formerly we assumed 4 (because we only saw the 4th) Who is to say there aren't 6? Or 7? Etc.

Why are we assuming the numbers we have now are the terminal end of the max number of army corps?

Or did I miss something that said explicitly the total number? That's possible but I don't remember it ever being said before.

My personal guess is that Squad number equals Slayer total, but that's not based on any info given yet.

Abt tiers: Kheil compared Yama to the Slayers of old time, meaning his lvl is what people regarded as Slayer lvl when they were founded as a group. And Yama is Yasurach's tier, I'm sure. That's why I associated Slayers to Squad Commanders.

The whole deal with Branch Heads tho is that they are allegedly the second tier in Noble Families, answering to the FH and ruling over a portion below them. It sounds like what Squad Commanders and Slayers are to their respective groups. But Just as FHs have different ranks amongst themselves, Branch Heads might be weak comparatively to Squad Commanders and Slayers alike. LPB FH is nowhere to be seen on top 17, while Luslec and Jahad do. Imo that would perfectly explain the underachievements of LPB branch Heads we currently see, not that they should be at Division Commander tier or something like that.

Dokoko isn't having a hard time yet, and he is up against 2 Baylords. Its below what we would expect but LPB are Jahad's pups, not some major family such as Ha, Arie and Khun. Their FH sits below Luslec, It says a lot.

I mostly agree with your post but we don’t how branchs work in other families , actually just LPB structure is clear and I’am sure among the 20 branches there will be at least 5 with CC or slayer level like the 8th son, we don’t even know if LPB has son who are not branch head but rather hold a position in the main family, we k’ow Alphine comes from the main family and she was sent to be elaine maid, we know that the twins come from the main family too.

I think that we can a,l agree that luslce being ranked higher than some FH is because of his position as the leader of FUG.
Also I think the Ha family is overrated, yurin just have 2 sons and they don’t have a lot of branches, that means not enough rankers, I think LPB family is stronger than Ha family but that is just me and my understanding of the story.
