Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

It will probably be just the announcements already made in March 21.

I guess this is the one they managed to extend out of the three big endings, huh.
Why're we acting like the series has been extended? In all likelihood Furudate is referring to the rest of the match. Haikyu matches are long, it bares repeating.

I'm not up to par with Haikyuu, but that phrasing usually means it's going to last quite a bit (not years but still). If it was already looking like that, then well, my bad.

I never thought for a second that Haikyuu would end with "this" match, it would be just weird to do lol

UxU is holding well in the rankings and Mashle nearly broke into the Top5 with its first ranking. Looking good for them. Now the sales just need to be decent and they are safe for a while.
@happyfacecool AB is a bit... different to what WSJ readers are used to, I think. Like the standard is one male MC, some friends/comrades, a heroine/love interest and a couple cute/sexy eye-candy for a cast. In AB all we got is a sausage sauce, even Chris can't save that as a trap in denial. Other magazines got full girls or full boys cast for their series but in WSJ that is not the norm. So some, not all, WSJ readers might feel weirded out by AB when reading it because simply said, it got a lot of balls but no boobs. xD

It's pretty obvious what AB's target demographic is... There's some Grand Blue comparisons for it, but what the latter has over the former is that there's a little bit of everything for everybody instead of pigeonholing itself into one specific audience. Plus, not only does it play its comedic elements well, its dramatic elements are equally just as good. But I think I'll stop now.

quick search says 2014 (not gonna do a more comprehensive on since indexing issues for now on both sides, maybe once I'm done with the project I can do it without any effort... eh)

Wait, it's ending next chapter? This arc was supposed to be the last one, no?
"最終章" is usually used to refer to the final arc, this was also in a CP not too longo ago.

Always good to see how successful JJK has become, hopefully with the anime, it can cross 400-500k within a month.

Love that cover, specifically becauss Tsukki is in it. It's just nice to have the main 5 firsts years together like that.

Good, I want Furudate to give us more character interactions and we still have to get the characters playing for the national team.

The problem with AB is that it doesn't know how to play its strengths. It's very cliche in delivery and the punchlines are awkward and are not as efficient as they hope. Also, don't use "trap", that's derogatory.

JJK will only surpass BC this year if the boost is fast and big, but overall I do think that at some point JJK will have more in print that BC.

I think Agravity's biggest issue is that its setup is so thin that, for an episodic comedy, its left with no option but to constantly make new shit for stories. When your setup involves just four characters (and only four) stuck on a completely isolated alien planet that is also mostly harmless, there's not much in the way of avenues to explore while maintaining a status quo. Like, already four new guys were randomly introduced and had three straight chapters focused on one of them being obsessed with Chris, that's how little there really is to do.

I'm kind of conflicted on Agravity Boys. Like it isn't my favorite series in the magazine by a long shot, but I enjoy the chapters enough every week to continue reading it.

(also Chris is a big cutie and one of my current top manga crushes)
