Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Can we add Dragon Ball Super as well? It doesn't release on Sunday, so perhaps the chapter that releases the Monday prior to can be voted on?
This Moro arc is hype.
Next chapter isn't till April 20th, but it'd be a neat idea to keep in mind.

Will we also be able to vote on SQ manga like World Trigger when they release on Manga+?

Interesting. WNL last volumes will have all the characters and it'll form some kind of continuation between each of them.

Also let's do that thing again where we rank all the current series we're reading based on our current enjoyment of the series (not appreciation for the series overall).
But with a twist. We include anything that releases on Manga+

For me;
Chainsaw Man. Easily now my favorite series to ever run in Jump. Sorry HxH. Fujimoto is a nut.

Mashle- Absolutely adoring this. Beelzebub esque tone/genre versatility with a Harry Potter/ONE twist. Really it seems to be doing well so far with overall reception. I'd like to see this stick around for a long time.

Agravity Boys- Really love the setting, find the characters endearing, and the comedy really clicks with me as well. Hope this becomes our new Gintama.

Spy x Family- Like a more grounded Beelzebub. Really loving it and the characters.

Dragon Ball Super- Moro arc is great. First time the series has actually felt like Dragon Ball for me.

Black Clover- I used to be probably the biggest poster of Black Clover criticism on the forum. Who would have thought it would become one of my favorite series running the magazine right now? Regardless, Tabata really improved over the years and I find the series so charming, hot blooded, and fun now. Not to mention Tabata's incredible art.

World Trigger- So glad this is back and this current battle is great.

Jujutsu Kaisen- I honestly haven't been loving this arc as much as I was hoping I would going in. Despite that, it's still been pretty enjoyable.

Kimetsu no Yaiba- This final battle felt like it dragged on forever and ever. Definitely felt as exhausting to read as it was for the characters to fight. However it wasn't all bad, there were a couple of real stand-out parts of the fight.

One Piece- This flashback sucked. Thankfully we're back to the present now.

My Hero Academia- I should care about what's going on right now but I honestly haven't cared about anything since the All-Might vs One-For All Fight. What happened Horikoshi?

The Promised Neverland- This series got really really bad after Goldy Pond and refuses to end.

Guardian of the Witch- I had some hopes for the series after the first chapter, but man this is so bland and broken.

Undead x Unluck- Trash.

Yozakura Family- Boring trash.

Currently catching up with Act-Age (had read up to the end of the Galactic Railroad arc but then put it on hold and hadn't picked it back up till now) but it'll probably be near the top once I'm caught up. Loving it a lot.

Months ago i tried to include both Dragon Ball Super and Boruto that are always released together/a day before WSJ and read by many, but at the time Buranchi didn't accepted, now with this test maybe it will happen, but for the moment is a test to see if users vote or not in them (Maybe at first it will get few votes because users aren't used to them in the poll)

Regarding OP, fan reception of the Oden flashback doesn't really matter. At this point, not much is going to really "raise" OP's sales, it's simply too long to get new readers easily.

Detective Conan recently got a good boost in sales because some episodes in the tv anime, isn't anything impossible for OP to get some raise with some big event happening in the anime or some movie.

Conan is easy to get into without following constantly because of how little plot development there is. One Piece on the other hand requires a focused readthrough of 90+ volumes, which is a much, much taller order.

You should ignore Bakagou and read BnHA for Twice, a mix of Deadpool and a kicked puppy, you gonna love him. <3

Is it just me or is M+ broken? I see no updates whatsoever, just an empty page.
Corona virus did impact the M+ views lol, meanwhile in Japan business as usual. They are completely immune any natural disasters not even the Corona could touch. BANZAI Japan!

I could see One Piece getting some kind of boost with the new Netflix series.
There's going to be so many changes with the live action adaptation. A lot of aspects will be toned down. I don't think this will be like how Game of Thrones got people into the books, for instance.

Still could get viewers who wouldn't otherwise to check out the source material.

Regardless the quality of Live action, non-One piece fan or New readers will still check it out the original source material. Even the live action of Death note, people will still find out the original source so it will help the exposures of One piece franchise.

That's possible, sure. But this will be a Western adaptation. You think a Western live action adaptation will appeal to Japanese fans?

It's the Japanese fanbase that spends the most on manga, after all. They'd have to watch the show in subtitles, which, now that I think about it, is highly amusing.

One Piece- Love it to death, getting crazy hype now that we're out of flashback land and the raid is starting back up. Flashback did kinda drag but I can appreciate it now that it's over and may go back and read it.

Haikyuu- Enjoying the match so far, would like a little more action than dialogue, but it's still the early stages

My Hero- Wasn't feeling the current arc too much, this chapter has revitalized my interest

Black Clover- Cool action right now, not a lot to say

Yuuna- Pretty good arc, kinda hoping this is the real endgame but not 100% sure

Kimetsu- I'm pretty mixed on the muzan fight as a whole, but I did like it come the end. Maybe a reread will improve my feelings

TPN- please end already, I do not like peter at all

Dr Stone- Nice little transition between arcs, kinda waiting around for something now

WNL- Having fun in what if land, looks like we'll be here for a while

Act Age- Loved the team A performance, kinda wished we saw more of team B and the later performances

Jujutsu- Arc is really good, though some chapters don't do much for me

CSM- Love it

Yozakura- Not a fan and has a ton of problems, occasionally it's potential really shines through.

Mitama- Love it to death, all hail shakejiro

Zipman- Join u19 already

Agravity- Really liking it, could diversify it's humor more

UxU- Really liking it

Mash- Pretty iffy on it, has some problems, but I do think I could see myself coming around on it, provided it doesn't go south

Guardian- ZZZZ

Jigokuraku- Love it

SxF- I like it, but probably not as much as most people

DBS- It's fun for what it is

Boruto- Eh

World Trigger- Love it, but release schedule is rough

All I can is CSM is my fav series from WSJ & Jigokuraku is my fav series from Jump+. Kaku being an assistant for Fujimoto (Fire Punch) brings such joy as they both now have titles that mean a lot to me. They're both incredibly talented, GOAT 🐐.

Forgot to read Yuuna. Yep, this arc is still good. Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm enjoying the What-If/AU chapters here more than WNL right now. More confident in the harem ending happening now.

Wonder if Kaku will make the jump (heh) to the main publication as well once Jigokuraku is completed. He's absolutely earned the ability to find his way onto the main stage.

What, you don't want to read five different endings to the same manga?

Yeah...I don't like the direction WNL has gone in.
