Well, I never actually thought she lost to Lucy. She went fairly easy on Lucy and still had the upper hand. But Lucy isn't even on the level of a high-ranking Spriggan anyways.

I doubt Brandish could have killed Team Natsu on Caracol Island though. Gray, Natsu, and Erza were all casual on the island. If those 3 were at their full-power, Brandish would have lost almost immediately.

That was supposed to be a spy/infiltration mission. Gray, Natsu, and Erza had no intention of starting a war with Alvarez around that time, which is why they did little to stop Brandish. If they wanted to, they could defeat Brandish right then and there.


I agree Natsu was cut, but the difference was that he proceeded to two-shot Neinhart without feeling much pain. And Brandish would lose the moment Natsu entered FDKM.


I do understand that Brandish wasn't serious the entire arc, but I'm not going to extrapolate her feats because of that. She may not have had any intention to fight, but she sure hasn't shown anything on the caliber of a high-tiered mage.

If anything, her feats have said otherwise.

Well, while Gildarts is definetly above Happy, and his speed is definetly above August(he even dissapeared from his sight), he is not faster than happy. Happy's travel speed is the fastest in the guild(I can't believe I'm saying this with a straight face). While Happy's combat speed is equal to zero, his travel speed is very impressive. Remember how he took Natsu to Zeref in a few minutes? And Zeref was really far. So no, the fact that Happy blitzed doesn't mean that Gildarts can as well.
However, this match depends on one thing:
If Gildarts doesn't know Jacob's ability, he loses. If he does know, he might blitz him in time. Still though, it's 50/50.

Irene blitzed Erza and has a counter to Dim's time magic so no, Dim can't possibly hope to beat Irene. This has already been established that Irene is above all S12 and is only rivaled by August.

Natsu couldn't even blitz Jacob before he clapped his hands, and Jacob could also just go stealth and do it. Happy was just for comedy and he's among the fastest in the verse. Gild couldn't even blitz Historia GS he ain't blitzing Jacob as easily as you think.

That is what I thought as well, since Brandish had big hype in beginning of the arc. But the thread was made by May 2017, wasn't it the time when all Spriggans were defeated? And when even enchanted Neinhart became immune to her hax?

Yea but her hax worked on Natsu so they still had that. Then there's the obvious argument of it was Irene that made her hax useless.

Stops at Irene if she goes Dragon Form. He blitzed August , so provided the distance between him and Larcade isn't high , he can blitz him in a similar fashion and cube him before he can pull off Pleasure . The reason August was saved was because of his hax.

Gildarts might even lose to human Eileen. Human Eileen took a direct hit from enchanted erza to the head. Still was fine. She can make gildarts metal arm explode and maybe even rips his magic out

And she is at least as fast as erza. Which means human Eileen is around erza/laxus speed. Is gildarts faster than them?

Though human irene has no attack feats kind of like August, but she can handle blumblatt, which is reiko red lightning equivalent
