Since Viernes is the only DG who we know nothing about, what if he trains Natsu’s crew?

I’m still under the impression one of the DGs will train them. It’s the best chance to close the gap between them & a DG.

Yep, none of them except Ignia and Selena are villain materials. And even Ignia just seems to be a hothead looking for a fight than an actual villain. Only Selene is potentially gonna be an actual villain.
Merc and Aldoron seems to just want to live their lives peacefully, but kept getting screwed over. Viernes, we'l have to see.

Yep I agree.

I hope we get more deep arcs instead of just: Beat villian and on to the next one. Like a Gajeel-Viernes thing. Ignia-Natsu. Selene-Lucy.

Why would he though? But that would be cool. He ends being a a good guy instead.

My only argument here is Limit release Seilah is much faster than base Seilah. Thats why i dont believe on the cards. Lol.

In manga you can even get killed by using paper ( my ultimate wifey Konan)

Like I said, you don't have to believe the cards. My point still stands even if Kyouka and Seilah are equals, or even anywhere within the ballpark of each other. In straight combat, Seilah outclassed Mirajane while Erza was "too strong!!!" for Kyouka. In order for Mirajane and Erza to still be equal in combat prowess, Seilah would have to be significantly stronger than Kyouka. She's not, and we have reason to believe the opposite.

Aldoron > Doom > Metro > Gear > Wolfen.

Wolfen doesn't seem to be strong at all. It's his abilites that are OP.

For me it's Good Seed Aldoron > Metro/Gear/Doom > normal Wolfen until they get feats. Wolfen can swap places depending on the person he transform into.

Natsu and Luxus was no difference in speed ... not to the point of being relevant to the fight.

what wins the fight today is power and resistance/vigor.

No, not fit speed. You can see the obvious speed boost Natsu gets when he uses lightning. It’s a speed type magic bro. He’s certainly got the advantage. Jellal is really the only comparable character speedwise.

Laxus blitzes her several times, and gets in more blows than she does because of it. It’s how he keeps her on the back foot.

DF Natsu>>Gildarts>Laxus>=Erza>=FDKM Natsu>>Gajeel>Mira>Gray


Gajeel, Mira and Gray are all relatively close....kinda with Elfman trailing behind. Still tiers below the top tiers.

blitz is bullshit. whimsical fan thing.
there are some relances where characters can excel at speed, that's all ...

it would be "blitz" if Luxus defeated Erza
no chance to her fight back

acnologia is an example of real "blitz". there is no big speed difference between Natsu, Erza or Luxus.

I agree that characters who're around the same tier, tend to have comparable physical stats including speed stats. Exceptions would be if the mage has magic that specifically makes them faster (like Jellal, Racer, Jet etc); or if the mage is primarily a hax user (they tend to be quite low in all physical stats including speed. eg: brandish, neinhart etc)

But the concept of blitz, as far as I've understood, has little to do with defeating the opponent. It has more to do with attacking with speed which bypasses the opponent's comprehension or defence. A "win" isn't necessary to qualify an attack as blitz.
Eg: Racer was constantly blitzing Gray and Lyon, but he didn't win. Jellal blitzed Jura in GMG and Acnologia in Alverez arc (while he did basically no damage to Acno)

And, IMO, in speed, Laxus is superior to Natsu (no DF) and Erza. Especially if he transforms himself into lightning (he didn't do that in his fight against Erza if i remember correctly). It's just that Erza and Natsu has some unreal durability, because of which they can keep taking in punishment and still continue fighting.

like I said, blitz is a crazy fan thing that talks about fight all the time. Luxus hit a multi hits, Erza hit others ... and at the end of the fight they were practically hitting each other all the time, the speed was irrelevant.

If the speed does not give a big margin against the opponent, like Acnologia against Deus Serena, then it is not something to be exalted.
