Guys, don't pose questions that will lead to completely off-topic answers.

Like, I get wanting to discuss non-WSJ mangaka, but it really is off-topic and shouldn't be discussed in this topic.

They're not going to just transfer a manga to Jump+ or whatever because it's not popular enough for WSJ, that's not how it works. The transferred series in the past few years were all special cases. From what I remember

- Bort was a monthly series so not part of the normal lineup anyway (and I expect planned to leave once Kishi's new manga started from the beginning)
- Tomatoypoo was popular and transferred because the author didn't want to do the intense weekly schedule
- and I'm From Japan had an anime airing (I think sponsored by the Tokyo government or something?) so they couldn't just cancel it despite its low popularity

They don't just move stuff somewhere else if it's not popular. Series sometimes get an extra final chapter or two elsewhere but there's generally special circumstances for series that keep going in other magazines.

The only other recent-ish situation I can think of where a series got moved elsewhere and kept going is iShoujo, I don't know if there's any special circumstances around that one.

They could transfer series to Jump Plus but unfortunately Shonen Jump still not realise that they can do it or that series can grow in other platform, Shonen Magazine do a good use of Magazine Pocket, one of the most popular series in the platform, Infection, was originally a series that wasn't doing well on WSM, got moved to Pocket and turned into a actual seller, Jump would just cancel it.

Jump editorial seems to run on the mentality of it not being worth it when the series themselves are poorly received. Which, you know, most axed Jump series tend to be. Maybe it would work better when Naruto, Bleach and Gintama were still running and taking up space, but with so much room now there's usually not much point...

Well the merged polls worked well, we got more votes this week in both poll and comment votes, thanks for the votes and keep with us in the next ones too! (And the ones who where not counted, please comment more in the forum so your votes will be counted too)

A interesting detail, this is the first issue that we got 3 series with over 100 votes, also the top 5 is a record of votes, which you can see the impact in the rest of the poll that got fewer votes, this week the votes were a lot concentrated in the top 5.

For the next one tomorrow i will include Boruto and Dragon Ball Super, probably Tsukuda and Shun one shot too!

Yes, it's easily the most voted first chapter so far and is funny because in the first poll it was by far the most voted but i felt like in the comment section many users were holding back a bit with all the "3rd place" aka "5 points" that Time Paradox got (Undead almost beat it) but in the end still got first place.
