Moderator Notice:
Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

I personally think that they are low key, subdued events with minimal drinking and low overall craziness......... until Chad Fujimoto shows up and things take turn for the wild with drinking games, drinking games with flamethrowers while ice skating and using illegal purchased weapons from Russia to fish while on a yatch with Shinzo Abe and Nakano partying all night which would make for a very interesting manga
Nah, Fujimoto is not a chad irl and would not be any party's centre of attention.
If you read his interview from Fire Punch days, he seems to be, well, a creepy outcast nerd. Nothing wrong with creepy outcast nerds. They are always full of spectacular ideas.

But he seems to be the kind of fellow to eat the all the food at a party.

He definitely likes food
Word on the street is that he gained weight after starting serialization of Fire Punch

Imagine if they did another set of Jump Ryu's. I would die to see Tsurun's video.

It would be quite amusing if they did a Gotouge one and people started to analyze every frame where their hands appear trying to uncover their gender (kinda like what happened with Furudate but in a much larger scale)

Goku never really changed or matured that much. The funi dub really changed up his characterization as an adult through vocal performance and dialog which is why I think a lot of people have that perception.
Isn't only on USA, here in Brazil is the same, i never saw a series being so misinterpreted by its own fanbase like Dragon Ball because the dub versions creating all this more "serious" and heroic vibe around Goku, so it was quite annoying to me when i saw people acting like DB Super made Goku more "childish" or making some disrespectful comments towards Nozawa Masako.

FUNimation initially made Goku a Superman wannabe that "protects the innocent", complete with a certain infamous line in the climax of the Freiza arc.

A polar opposite to some clumsy guy who just wants to be strong and fight someone he comes across in the Japanese versions.

I'd say half the reason why people cling to that characterisation for Goku is because his "actual" character makes him to a modern audience look like a borderline sociopath.

Both are correct answers.

Goku is beloved because he is just a goofy martial artist that loves to fight anyone, even if they were out of his league. At least in Japan.

FUNimation took liberties to make him a stereotypical hero that some would see as a good role model to youth.

First place was quite obvious, still, Ghostwriter keeping strong.

Black Clover finally rising, OP doing quite low lately, Yugen one shot did very good for the first one shot in the polls.

Didn't expected Agravity Boys to do so bad this week, i think this is the worst results for the manga since chapter 1 lol

Edit: @Halloween do that thing in the archive thread that i need to update with the last 4 results and don't want the posts to be merged

I just want to see the reception of TP ghostwriter in Japan. Especially because here and also on YouTube Brazilian he drew a lot of attention.
