Suigetsu was so cool when he was introduced, but I have no recollection of whatever happened with him after Team Sasuke left Orochimaru.

He's an artist, can't fault him for focussing on aesthetics

For a character specifically designed to lack emotions, he shows a more realistic character than most

He, also, was willing to stick up for his team mate and put Sakura in her place when she lied to Naruto about her feelings for him - by the end, he's a genuinely decent guy

Agreed Erin. These arts are way, way and way much better then those ugly ones from MAL. Better to choose from a lot of variations that can be easily find from any sources to give the round at least an ''applying looking'' for the characters (even if you dislike or like or don't know them xD), imo. So that's indeed a nice touch.

While I do think that for effiency of the overall story Sai should have been left out completly, I do think that as a character he is moderately interesting. Characters that could be considered part of the autism-spectrum provide nice diversity and inclusivity to cast.

Glad Chouji got nominated. Was on my initial list as well. Had lot of potential, but underwhelming use of character as well.

Same goes for Anko. Could have been great.

Man, I love that scene so much - she snuck up on her target, immobilized him with a ninja tool, and then tried to assassinate him as fast as possible.
It's pretty refreshing when 'ninjas' actually act like ninjas in Naruto

I can only hope that my obsequious friendliness will be enough to drive most participants away - only those with high quality lists need apply

Choji is one of the kindest char. nice pick. Shikaku is in my honorable mention list, almost made it. Yeah anko was a promising char i would have loved to see her more and that she get more dev. She almost doesnt exist after timskip too bad, she had so much potential.

 

[Hermit]

He wanted to revive the Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, a goal that ultimately was forgotten by the author.
