Regarding Kabuto, my favorite memory was him being the recipient of Naruto's first rasengan.

But yeah, his backstory was awesome and before all that experimentation, was pretty great

A lot of fragments of what Naruto could have been if it were a better manga than it turned out to be in those rankings.

Asuma and Kurenai both fall in that Konan category of cool characters that never actually had much purpose. Asuma at least had a cool death scene. Kurenai was like Konan's sempai in having an awesome design and core idea. But chucked in the dumpster due to bad writing. Utterly wasted.

Kushina I don't really have an opinion on because I sort of associate her with all the retcons stuff the descended on the series like an avalanche. Another good characters design. Naruto's mom was, in fact, pretty hot.

Then there is Kabuto. Smug bastard. Very hateable, which I appreciate in a villian. Really unfortunate that after Orochimaru dies(kinda) he's just a pathetic plot device. A fate worse than death.

Ikr....just like Shino...I personally would be invested in how certain clan evolved instead of dead characters or recycled ones...such as

Kiba and their Beastmaster style with dogs...hence Kakashi summons.
Idk....think it woulda been so much cooler if Kishi really built Konoha up instead of focusing on how big the ninja world was/is.
All that coulda came later...color Konoha instead of leaving it black and white like all other villages.
Hell Konoha was and shoulda been his main focus.

Never liked these turn of events in regards to the Bijuus misunderstood Pokemons.
Will never forgive Kurama for taking Kushina and Minato from us. ​

Yeah that was really one of his many big fails. The kekkei genki ideas were so great. All those different clans with different ablitlies. So much variety. It was so interesting.

Then he negated all of that by making Uchiha and Senju the only thing that has ever mattered or will ever matter. If the Uchihas were just a clan among other clans, equal to the Hyuugas, the story would be 100000x better.

Kyuubi just means 'Ninetails' as far as I recall. Kurama is his given name (revealed later). He is a nice fluffy Pokemon by the end of the series. :3

Kakuzu and Hidan were a fun duo. They were a diversion from the main plot, but they allowed the world to breathe a bit and gave Shikamaru some great development.

Plus, they just had some cool abilities.

I think thats actually a plot point in the series, everybody just call him "Kyubi" aka Nine-Tails, but then he starts to soften for Naruto when he asks whats his real name is.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Her name is Mirai , and she is chunin now , working under shikamaru. He trained her. Oh, btw, she is one of the ones, who reports directly to naruto, also being trained for one of his elite troops.
Multiple appearances in novels and anime + also had her own novel "Konoha shinden-steam ninja scrolls", which was adapted too.
