CSM is around 94k first week and second is 146k from oricon+shoseki estimates

Jujutsu has 1 day less in the chart though. And chainsaw's week 2 is going to be around 40k on oricon, give or take a couple thousands.

So all in all, jujutsu is going to come out slightly stronger from the comparison, but not by much. Both did and are doing really well.

When you get the best first ranking in the last 6 years people will assume it's being well received.

It still doesn't say a lot. Hungry Marie got ranked 4th for its first chapter and still got axed in the end. Meanwhile Kimetsu no Yaiba and Yuuna got ranked 10th and survived. Whether a new series can consistently rank either high or in the middle of the ToC matters a lot more than the first rank.

Yeah, I’m really not too excited for this batch. Ayakashi Triangle looked interesting from the art but with the direction the story is going I’m not too sure if I’m going to enjoy it very much. Magu Chan could be good. Maybe? Idk. It looks like another gag and dear god we have had so many of those lately. Mashle (kinda), Mitama, Agravity, Moriking, the point is we do not need another. What’s the third one‘s name? I legitimately forgot. The art looks pretty neat but I need a premise. And for Me no Roboko... yeah theres just no way.
