Agree, only showed up as an edo tensei and was overshadowed by other prominent shinobi.

The Sugeitsu thing with acquiring all blades and make use of them didn't develop much.

I love how you keep bringing up the anime filler, Buroto, and expanded universe stuff as if that is somehow supposed to make it better.

At least, it gives more material for ones looking for specific stuffs , even if fillers. Better or not, up to the person's discretion.

he became mizukage. And one other besides zabuza, who can handle all 7. Hozuki mangetsu- i wanted some focus on him.
If u wanted old gen focus, they got their own episodes in anime and new gen is in Boruto. kagura, the descendant of yagura, is also the one, who can handle all 7.

It's a shame that the anime and other media has to serve as the medium to fill these countless gaps. Shows you how bad Kishimoto actually was by being unable to do it in his original work which had 700 fucking chapters. Unbelievable.

yeah, didn't get to see mangetsu in filler too . And suigetsu gave up on his goal , working for oorochimaru rn.

Good thing I watched when it was completed and can remove fillers. But yeah there's some weird stuff I seen on youtube, like alternate reality where Minato and Kushina were still alive with Naruto or Jiraiya leading grown up Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko

Yeah, tht is his flaw sadly and tbh, some of these fillers were really well done. Others were boring as hell too.

Patchwork stuff. Indeed, but as i was saying if someone wants specifics, like @Hermit wanted some more 7 ninja stuffs, he can look through episodes if interested.Does not add anything to the manga's flaws or makes it better, but at least, u get stuffs, u r looking for entertainment value.

Don't remind me tht dream inside a dream stuff. Fucking 50+ episodes....i was getting fed up with tht stuff......went from weekly to 3 monthly during tht time and completed them by 3x speed.

I also dropped the anime at some point, especially because of the fillers and horrendous animation. I don't care what happens there. The fight against Pain should have been enough for anyone to drop it. That fight deserved Kimetsu no Yaiba/Fate UBW level of animation and portrayal. And they made a freaking joke of it.

Of course you can't include everything in your original work (no series does), but it's too damn much in Naruto. If you read lakhan's posts about the novels and anime stuff, it doesn't even sound half bad. So, why not focus on it in the original work when you have good stuff to show? 750 chapters instead of 700...

There was a filler arc that dealt with one of the Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist actually. Problem is, the dude was so pathetically weak. Ended up losing to a normal Rasengan.
Aren't these people supposed to be the hotshots of the Mist

The main problem imo was the focus on Akatsuki. A good villain group, fantastic even. But the capture of the other Jinchuuriki was mostly offscreened. The only one that we had any detail on was Gaara, and that's because he was already an established character.
It would have made so much sense to display world building with the Jinchuuriki. Like what Kishimoto did with Killer Bee's introduction.

There were some that were good, like the Itachi backstory, Fugaku MS, and Akatsuki development before Yahiko death that I decided to watch.

But then the that dream inside a dream, like wtf is happening or that one kid that got Kyuubi chakra or something.

The ones who got focus were Fuu and utakata, but both were in anime fillers. Fuu one was during chunin exams taken during 2 year gap, where neji made it to jonin & others to chunin . So, yeah, if someone wants to see more neji , they can look through those episodes.
And utakata had his own arc.

Other than them, han, roshi and yugito never got any focus at all.

Seeing Org giving her 6 points, now im kinda ashamed i only gave her 1 point. Best girl deserved better from me.

A real shame she got done in by the plot.
Now looking back, after she said to Naruto that the Rain Village would stand alongside him and his dream, she should have joined the war effort as Amegakure's de facto leader, instead of just being in Obito's way to get the Rinnegan. If it were up to me, she still would have battled Obito and lose i guess, but survive the encounter somehow. And then she would have rounded up the Rain Village and joined the alliance to take revenge on stinkin Obito. This would have worked well with what she said to Naruto.
