I don't know, do you know? Give some examples.

I remember one of the last unexpected breaks was about three years ago.
Maybe someone should break it down for you. A regular break is always planned ahead. A break that isn't planned is an emergency break because it wasn't planned or foreseen ahead enough for them to put in the magazine. This wasn't planned as previews have shown MHA is releasing a chapter next week.

No one is saying this is health related only. It could be last minute scheduling delays such as him requiring more time to finish a chapter to his liking.

So, I'm not the one arguing about this being an emergency break (which this is, as explained above numerous times).
You are the one who keeps denying it despite it being an obvious emergency break. So, the responsibility is on you to show us an unexpected break that wasn't scheduling or health related.

Dang Guardian higher than Mitama and Bone Collection. Tbh, If Bone Collection sells badly next month and stays at the bottom I can see it being axed first.
This was yesterday, the current one looks like this:

Mashle 2 #18761
Yoza 4 #39478
TimePara #46984
MoriKing #63482
BoneColle #84151
Mitama 4 #98204

I'm very curious about Chainsaw Man's and Act Age's placements in the TOC. Arguably the two most unique series in WSJ and they are typically placed at the lower end of the TOC.
Not to forget that these franchises are growing at a fast pace as well. I wonder why WSJ isn't just pushing these up further to the front.
CSM sorta makes sense since it might end soon-ish, if this is the last arc. So WSJ probably sees more value in promoting something newer. CSM barely gets Covers as well, so this theory might explain that as well.
But then what about Act Age?

Or is this because these two are more popular outside the magazine? In which case, the votes don't really go to either series. I can see that to be the case with CSM.

Maybe a sudden death in the family, maybe an injury, maybe an important obligation care up., or maybe something as simple as him suddenly noticing there’s an error in an upcoming chapter that he needs to fix and messed up his schedule. Or maybe nothing at all.
Point is, this isn’t common and leads ppl to assume something happened
Are you sure it's not common? I remember at least two other three cases in which it happened.

You know how it is, emergency evokes something negative ....

Figured that's what your problem was, the terminology. Emergency doesn't necessarily just mean health issues. It could mean a number of things that the mangaka could just not avoid.

I don’t recall this being common as in it being a regular thing. It may happen once a year or so probably. But Jump surely intends to let readers know ahead of time when something is on a break

This was discussed a little while back, but it's almost guaranteed that it's being editor placed due to the content of the series.

I seriously doubt it's super popular literally everywhere else except for Japan. Speaking of popularity though, it appears to be the most popular WSJ manga on /r/manga.

Thanks for the new one. Interesting ranking, where is Guardian there?

I found Roboco first chapter pretty funny, and sure the premise is predictable and the characters are cliche but as long as it make me laugh I don't see how's that a problem

Shark and Dolphin is shaping up to be like an exorcist manga, instead of exorcist organization we have special cops, and instead of evil demons we have evil sea creatures

Magu-chan is as comfy as ever, I liked every new characters that joined the cast so far, hopefully the streak continues

TPGW is once again trying too hard to make Teppei likeable, this whole bit about the mc not spending any money he makes from the series seems like an afterthought and a response to the criticism, "see! he's a nice guy!" also if the future person knows Teppei is so pure he wouldn't take the plagiarism dirty money why would he accept the lottery cheating dirty money?

I'm still still pushing the Mashle reminds me of OP meme, Mash=Luffy, Lance=Zoro, Daut=Sanji, Finn=Usopp
Should we call Mash’s crew the Cream Puff Pirates?

CSM makes sense in many ways.
Act Age tho is curious considering how it's sales are catching up on BC and Dr. Stone.

That said, CSM does receive a lot of color pages.

chapter 1
Why does this feel like it was initially pitched for Jump? An interesting start, it did a good balance of comedy and more dramatic moments, with a great art to boot. I also like that it laid out the very foundation, backstories and the goal while introducing several relevant characters already.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was pitched to WSJ at first. We know that Astra Lost in Space was rejected from WSJ but allowed on Jump+, so it makes sense that there'd be others.

Wow. No wonder the Japanese crowd were raving about it. The twist at the end was so well done and got a hearty laugh out of me. What seemed to be your standard prologue chapter, turned out to be pretty unconventional.

These are the ones from yesterday if someone wants to get some conclusions, even though I wouldn't. I'd only say the only for sure thing seems to be Mashle's consistency in high ranks. Wonder if stocks will have issues or not.
I don't remember, where is the website for this information?

Lol the last one was on issue #11 this year (early February), Furudate had fallen ill and we got Haikyuu-bu!! and Let's! Haikyuu!? special chapters that issue to compensate for the abscence of Haikyuu!!. Also, Horikoshi already took a break 3 issues ago, he is not Oda to take such a short span of time between breaks.

Have the new popularity poll for this week's issue been released yet?
It's late this week, Shinuki is probably busy or something.

chapter 1
This was actually a really nice read. It sets everything from the get go, establishes the relationships and has a fun twist. Hopefully, it mantains the quality because kaijuu stuff is really good.

chapter 1
Wow, I literally just finished reading Pochi Kuro, what a great coincidence! Definitely a step-up from the author's previous works, everything feels much more polished, especially the art and comedy. It's less wholesome than Pochi Kuro and Nekowappa!, but still has that same charm!

Overall, it was a really enjoyable first chapter! I'm glad that the reception in Japan has been good too, Matsumoto deserves it. Looking forward to following it!
