Not all the English Manga on Mangaplus are translated by Viz though, biggest example being Summertime Rendering. Even if Viz doesn't pick up a Jump+ title, that doesn't stop Mangaplus from doing so, they have completely different management.

That's the general idea, I thought. In Kaiju's case, while it's officially on Spanish M+, it isn't on English M+. However, it does have a scan group working on it, and it's available on mangadex.
If up to date is the main criteria, then what about all those up to date Jump+ titles like Matoi slave, Dosanko or city of imprisoned love
I don't decide what goes on the poll anymore. Initially, I wanted it to be WSJ titles *only* but everyone complained, so we added more.
Okay but if viz translates a series they use their translations. If not they use freelancers like they do for the espanol chapters.

Well, to be fair, none of those top three are on MangaPlus. Also, did anybody here actually read Hina Change or Dear Sa-chan? Like... I plan to read those two, but I dont think they were really popular enough, so I didnt mind them not being included in the poll.
So? Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post but I thought you were giving Viz as a reason why Mangaplus didn't pick up Kaiju in English, when that doesn't have anything to do with it. Mangaplus is a different company than Viz. The only 2 Jump+ titles on Mangaplus handled by Viz are Jigokuraku and Spy x Family. Unless Viz specifically decided to pick it up, which basically never happens, it'd be a choice for someone on the Mangaplus side of things.
what the poll consists of/will consists of needs to be plainly stated and clear. From these posts in the thread thusfar, coming from the perspective as someone who only paid attention to them maybe 4 or so weeks ago to now, it seems theres no clarity or rationale between being added at the whim of the maker.
Just because nobody gonna vote for Jo Jorgensen doesn't mean we can just exclude her from the election poll.
So, just request for that to be added here on the forum or wherever suitable and if a sizeable number of people agree, I'm sure Shinuki can add it.
