Honestly, I still think Rihito is going to win this fight at the end. That should tell you what I think about the outcome of a hypothetical fight between him and the Beard. He would knock some sense on this kiddo.
Also, in this chapter, I had the impression that he was about to do a Fire Ball Jutsu given the hand signs, lmao.

I was thinking that the guy who calls himself the Tiger's Vessel is in this tournament participating on Purgatory side, just that we don't know how he looks. At the end of Kengan Ashura it was said that he and Long Min were rivals at some point, which kind of implies that the Tiger's Vessel was around the same age as him. Any guesses as to who it could be? IMO, it's either Terashi, Liu or Fei. Liu is probably out of the equation since he looks like a veteran in Purgatory (he said Alan Wu was just a newbie on Purgatory), and the Tiger's Vessel is a pretty recent incorporation along with Alan Wu if I'm not mistaken. Terashi... I think there's some sort of reason as to why he's hiding his face. His hair looks kinda similar to Agito, I saw some theory that he could be a clone of Agito, although I really doubt it.
My guess would be Fei Wangfang as the Tiger's Vessel. He hasn't talked too much. That may be a sign that he's not too familiarized with Purgatory and he looks about the same age as Long Min too.

Yeah, I remember him, but I think that guy is not the Tiger's Vessel. I could be wrong, but Edward Wu secured one slot in the Purgatory Team for this guy and other for the Vessel. At least, that's what I understood. That or the Vessel had the slot beforehand, which would mean that he's probably not a newbie like Alan. Honestly, now that I think more about it, this last option is probably the most likely one.
I might be overanalyzing but if you take a look at the sandals and the white trousers he wears in this panel and then you look at this other panel:
There are only three people that wear similar sandals: Fei Wangfang, Liu Doncheng and Terashi. Out of those three, the only one who wears white trousers (like the picture of the Vessel I showed beforehand) is Liu Doncheng, the others wear black trousers. Of course, that doesn't mean it is him as he could just have changed sandals and trousers , but I think it is an interesting detail worth some attention. I had the impression before that the Vessel had to be a newbie in Purgatory and after thinking about it, nothing showed in the manga kinda implies that. He could very well have been in Purgatory for a lot of time, unless I missed some panels implying that he was a recent incorporation.

Ngh! You beat me to it. I was about to post it now
I'll post my thoughts later once I read it. The title is giving me Naruto vibes already, lmao.

Ok, saw it. The Naruto vibes were real especially when the first things I came across reading after saying it were the names Kakashi and Jiraiya, lmao. So far, action-wise I'm liking this fight more than the Gaolang vs Carlos one. The misdirections and the throwing off timings of the Falcon are really giving Rihito a hard time. That being said I'm still confident that he's going to win this. It's just like Kuroki and Muteba said. Rihito needs to really focus and see through the trick. Both are apparently incompatible with each other, it's just that the Falcon is exploiting and playing his tricks better.
Lmao at the Falcon thinking he stands a chance against the Beard God. He needs a reality check done by none other than the devil lance that pierces through plot armour.

Falcon reminds me those guys who try random anime or manga only martial arts like there was a guy in reddit that he was trying to bring the nico style to life lol falcon takes this and turned into reality you have to hand it the author really is creative with his fighters.
Yeah but the only thing he did so far was defending how much is he gonna hold up defending? He is gonna be full with injuries if he keeps continue that i think the trick is to go on agressive style plus he didn't even used his razor edge yet at all.
Even Kuroki said that it was not the best decision he could have made, but it wasn't implied to be a bad decision either. Honestly, we might get an explanation next chapter, but going by what Kuroki said in the training flashback about focusing more on the things he could already do, it doesn't look like Rihito learned much more besides improving his Razor's Edge and overall skill and pre-initiative in combat. So far, the basics in the Kaiwan Style are nowhere to be seen, unless some action panel.
But at the same time, if all it took was Razor's Edge to do this to the Falcon, he should have done it since the beginning. I don't know why would he take so much damage if at the end Razor's Edge could turn the tables like this. Maybe he first needed a slight grasp about the Falcon's techniques and movements to make sure it wouldn't miss? Maybe it was more of a trump card that he was forced to use? After all, all the people in which he has used Razor's Edge have adapted quickly to the situation. That's probably why he intended it to be a K.O shot.
I have been postponning this for a while because I had a lot of stuff to do, so lets gon
On carlos:
He was a fucking dissapointment, and the way the writing was handled on his fight was horrible. He kept going "this is is the real carlos medel" pretty much every single fight, being a cocky ass fuck who won on a techinicallity (even if it indeed is Gaolongs fault).
To be hyped as a equal if not better boxer than Gaolong, say you went even beyond that with the Capoeira combo (which´s mastery was a bullshit as fuck history), and don´t deliver anything of that, was pretty fucking meh. And I was fucking hyped by his design because you know weak ass looking people tend to be strong as fuck (hence the mimasa hype)
And when Falcon showed up that ninja suit I was like "oh fuck, here we go on the meme train again"
@LaserBeam I called him an OC because when his backstory was first shown in a serious tone it was like
"He is a bodyguard, and also a ninja, and also a mma fighter that is so strong he was the first in his division, and also the son of a billionarie"
This sounded at first like an OC background to me
OC is a derrogatory term meaning "Original Character", which originated on DeviantArt and some fanfic forums. When the internet was young, many people would just post whatever fanfic they wanted and many, many sonic original characters on deviant art. And one thing that was commom is that most of these artists (ie 12-16 year olds) were not very good writes, and would more often than not try to make them cool not by actually writing a compelling backstory, but by just inflating them with random characteriscts that tended to be melded together with no explation, or with a edgy backstory because people believe(d) that edgy=drama. So, seeing how Falcon at first seemed very serious, and after Carlos dissapointment, I thought he was going to be like those "OCs" of old.
But I have to say he grew on me (tho i had hopes his gross-ass-looking nails would do the inverse), seeing how much of a fucking weaabo he actually is really made me like him, because he is a actual passionate person. Fuck, the guy is much a narutard that he created an actual, viable, martial arts based only on that pretty much.
How can one not like him?
And on Rihito, I always thought, even before Kuroki called it that, that he was going to create a mixeed-arts, and wouldn´t become a second Kuroki. Here, I think he is possibly using a "Self-Destructive Foresight", IE tanking the attacks to inflict max damage. Which in this type of tournament, I´d say its a very viable tatitc, unlike in the KAT where you would´ve fought more than once.
And I´d say he has applied some of his training with Kuroki, as he didn´t seem to take the hit blindly like most users of this techinique do on manga.

ok i quess it be more clean in the next chapter if he uses his razor edge technically and not just swinging bluntly like noob like how he did in ashura.
Let's hope he is gonna do something that will make kuroki at least acknowledge that it was not totally 2 thrown years for literally nothing.
Sooo... I don't know if you guys check spoilers but I guess it's allowed to post them and comment on them with spoiler tags so here's the RAW to chapter 69 if anyone's interested:
The translation will probably be out later this thursday anyways if you want to be more patient than me.

I'd say it should normally be against the rules but the implication seems to be that his toe now is permanently poisonous, like how Doctor Hanafusa in Kengan Asura was allowed to use blades becase technically they were made out of his own bones. Going by the commentator's words, though, he doesn't know about the poison so it's possible the amount of poison is so small that only a handful of people know about it.
On the other hand I think we also just saw why he's called "the Falcon", which was fairly cool.
