I'm excited to see this, we're finally getting a new Jump+ series in English and it's by Rosario Vampire guy even.

I hope we get more stuff. Have all the non-viz translators on manga+ given up or something?

[pamuchi]

They really liked baseball back then huh

Isn't that the sport japanese plays the most and good at?

[OtterBrigade]

Oh wow! When was the last time Viz and not Mangaplus+ picked up a Jump+ series at launch? Jigokuraku?

Jigokuraku wasn't launch. It got fairly big on Reddit than Viz picked it up. I'm not sure has ever picked up a Jump+ series on launch. Maybe Astra Lost in Space?

[tirakai]

Speaking of Jump+, the new voice fetish manga is also at #1 like Kaiju was last week.

[Jorden Rivera]

I forgot how much I love this art style. I need to reread Rosario + Vampire one of these days. From the description, this doesn't seem like a series I'd enjoy, but I'm still excited.

This reminds me, lemme check Reddit and MangaDex viewcounts for both series:

KAIJU NO 8 CHAPTER 1:
304 Reddit points - 9,721 views in 3 days.
Series currently has 11,825 views and 1,766 follows on MD.

SENPAI! CHAPTER 1:
147 Reddit points - 10,540 views in 18 hours.
Series currently has 13,775 views and 2,116 follows on MD.

Yep, bout what I expected.

Voice fetish manga...what?
I didn't know that was a sub genre in manga,

There's a couple different series like that. I say voice fetish for a convenient label, but really it's an excuse to have h-manga dialogue in a regular manga.

[Koni]

I liked what I read of said voice fetish manga, though I can't help but feel bad for the MC. I dont even know if the girl even likes him like that.

[Serinox]

Akissa Saiké? What? Why did Ikeda Akihisa decide to go by a pen name all of a sudden? Or has that been a thing for a longer time and I just never heard of it?
