It certainly shows how the content of a manga don't necessarily reflect the author. Kenshin, Toriko and Act-Age showed that as none had nothing to do with what the person did.
I think Yozakura and UU are pretty much confirmed already.

Wow... Haven't posted here in a while, seems like a good time to posts some of my thoughts:
Seriously eff Matsuki the writer of Act-Age, I mean to a degree I could sorta play devil's advocate with the Shimabukuro's and Watsuki's situation, stating that Shimabu allegedly believed girls (Because it didn't just happened once) that lied about their age and that Watsuki... Emmm he is just a weirdo IIRC he proudly admitted to being a pedo, but at least we could argue that the materials he had obtained were legal at a certain point in time.. (Remember I'm just playing devil's advocate here folks, of course I'm not saying what he did was fine). Also, I heard this somewhere but apparently Watsuki got caught because he googled how to dispose of those magazines or something like that? I heard that, or read it somewhere though maybe it was just a rumor/fake, but if true at least he wanted to get rid of them..
But.. Seriously this dude Matsuki.. WTF? Like he must have like some sort of mental problem? He should get help too or something, I mean when you think about it, I'm kind of glad this didn't escalate, not knowing anything about Matsuki he seems like the kind of person that could have committed something way worse, so in a sense it's good that he was caught this early.
To end the Shimabu/Watsuki/Matsuki comparison, first of all I think what Matsuki did is waaaaaaaaaay worse than what the others two did, it's straight sexual assault on minors!
Second here's ANN on the Watsuki situation note how they basically said they were taking things very seriously and we all know what happened to Watsuki... nothing basically, he continued his manga, its movie franchise is going to continue, he even got/will get an exhibition in Japan soon IIRC, Rurouni Kenshin's kanzenban is currently being published here in Mexico, so while Viz dropped the Ruroken license other countries didn't .
So that makes me wonder what'll happen to Act-Age, I mean realistically Matsuki could continue it after he does his time (Because hopefully at least he goes to jail for some time), heck I don't think there is any law that says he couldn't continue it while in jail?
BTW Some people have said that right now Act age is amazon's best seller (take that Kimetsu no Yaiba, all it took Act Age to beat you was its creator to be a freaking weirdo..) Ok jokes in and taste aside, this same thing happened with the Judgment game basically one of the actors in the game got arrested because of drugs and the game got recalled and people were buying it in masse.. This is likely what's happening right now, people buying it before Act age volumes get recalled.
It's not unheard of manga continuing without their original writter/artist, it's also not unheard of of manga properties unable to continue because a dispute between writer/artist (E.g. Candy Candy, one of the most popular shojo manga of the 70s that basically couldn't be licensed worldwide because a brawl between the creators).
In a fair world Matsuki would step down and agree to basically give the rights of the story to Usazaki, this reminds me of the whole Evo situation where one of the main organizers basically stepped down (or was forced to do so) so that Evo could safe face (Not that I think it's going to continue with the EVO name, I don't think sponsors would like to be affiliated with that mark anymore).
So perhaps Matsuki could do just that or sell his share or whatever you call it, heck maybe he could be a ghostwriter if Usazaki doesn't really know how to continue the story or a general advisor of sorts (Though... Would Usazaki want to continue Act age?)
So.. What I'd hope is gonna happen is next issue Act age will have a chapter, and I doubt there will be anything in print about cancellation/hiatus because next week's jump were printed long ago, so Shueisha will likely make an official statement of cancellation/hiatus sometime next week (Via their website).. And then hopefully after sometime, maybe 2-3 months Usazaki can continue the manga (Maybe she can use those 2-3 months to gather some experience, write, etc)..
Also as for the anime (Because there was likely an anime either being made right now or in the talks) I don't know, but it'd be unfair for all the people involved if it doesn't happen, that will always be my opinion, same with EVO 2020, it was unfair that because of one crazy individual the communal effort of literally hundreds of people went down the drain. Shueisha or Usazaki could just buy the rights to the story or something so they don't have to include Matsuki's name or give him any more royalties.
Btw... Did you notice that Matsuki you just turn the M upisde down and it says... O________O!
Apparently it's a mistake... That happened twice.. So yeah... Umm.. Kinda.. Sorta.. Maybe? Like he was doing enjo kosai online or something like that and some girls lied about their age and he must have bragged about being a mangaka or something like that..
it was touched on earlier but would Usazaki want to? It's completely possible when he's out she's already on another big series and would have no reason to come back. I know a lot of people (myself included) get a lot of the enjoyment from her art so even if he came back and she gave permission to use another artist I doubt I'd even give it a shot.

My romance-loving ass wants to see what the praise was about. From the pictures I found, it looked real interesting, so I'm hoping it gets translated. Could very well become the next romance series to hit Jump after WNL.
Oh, btw, the author of that changedtheir profile pic and banner to the leads from Ao No Hako. Hopefully that means they're considering a serialization.

Same, from the raws it does look like it could make for a nice story, one that I only hope it doesnt turn into some soap opera drama just for the sake of prolonging it

However I have heard (and perhaps there was also written in a volume) that many Act Age dialogues are written by the author, so if there is perhaps a ready-made storyboard ... who knows ...
Then maybe the axed and that's it and peace, but I repeat zero certainties and we'll see.
