Both just the fact that it'd been 8 years and how much content there was to cover, wouldn't be a "here's 12 episode of Muhyo and Roji" situation which is probably much easier to greenlight. Not sure if this is super relevant to the thread though so I'm going to drop this line of conversation.

Assuming it's Pierrot animating Bleach again, they would most definitely go the long running format.

Bleach is amongst the highest selling anime in the long running format. No reason for them to suddenly go another way all of a sudden when they have had 366 episodes run like that.

My guess for Bleach is it'll get a full year run (especially if it's pierrot again). That or 50 episodes total but with a break halfway through (so two 25 episode series).

WSJ manga's different though, if they can't hook people in with the first couple chapters it's probably dying early (it's not always the case, but usually is).

That’s my point really. Given how cutthroat the magazine is, if the manga doesn’t doesn’t hook me within the first 5-7 chapters, I see no hope of it surviving. Of course, there are some that do survive for some reason sometimes. Other reason is that it simply doesn’t grab my attention or interest, like AT being too thin on plot. If it survives, good for them.

I can’t imagine would. I doubt Jump is will completely erase the series’ past before the incedent. They just won’t acknowledge it going forward

Weird. I remembered when I checked MangaPlus there's a new chapter of Act-Age which I haven't checked yet, but when I checked it again it was gone. I thought that it was the final chapter after the author was arrested. There are two reasons why it might be my brain giving biased memories, though:
1. In Time Paradox Ghost Writer's original timeline, after Itsuki Aino's death there's an extra chapter of White Knight to end the series, giving me the impression that if the author of a manga can't continue writing anymore, someone else will do the final chapter to end the series.
2. Kei Yonagi's hairstyle and color is kinda similar to Yozakura Mutsumi, so it might be possible that I mistook the two covers as each other, though I did remember seeing them both at a glance.

Holy fuck chainsaw, so close to JJK. Jujutsu's is...a bit disappointing to be entirely honest. Considering volume 11 had already sold 151,987 with a 4days fw, and considering about 50k of that number is going to be backlog (as per shoseki estimations, which could still be off I guess) I expected more from a 6days fw, tbh.

Thousand Year Blood War is a massive 207 chapters, so if they keep the 3 chapter per episode rule (which was pretty average for Bleach) that would come to about 70ish episodes/6 cours. I think anything less would be a little too fast, especially since there’s a lot of fans hoping it’ll expand on the manga rather than rush through it.

Seeing how glacial/nothing happens in most Bleach chapters, you could fit like 5 chapters into an episode.
