That's because the preview didn't come from WSJ, it was from ultra jump. That's why it was an HQ scan instead of a photo as usual.

The list is so weird. You have Mitama Security in the top 20 but no Mission: Yozakura Family, and then Agravity Boys in the top 10 while Mashle and The Cuckoo's Fiancée, which is one of the hottest newbies and like Kodansha's fastest-selling newbie ever, didn't even crack the top 10. Anyway, congrats to Agravity Boys for making it that high and special congrats to Undead Unluck for topping the list, now to see how they grow from here.

you have to wonder how long will Torture Princess keep running? does Haruhara even do long running series? even his successful series are pretty short

Senyuu 3 volumes, its sequel is 6 volumes, Saeki-san is 5 volumes, Suginami is 4 volumes, Hero Heart is 4 volumes

he also released a oneshot on WSJ not too long ago due to MHA sudden absent, was that a throwaway? will he do 2 series at once like he did in the past? or is he already thinking about his next work?

Technically you'll see right away if older volumes pop back in the charts. That'll also give an idea of how Vol 3 will sell. If you don't see older volumes pop up right now, I don't think there will be any sales increase from this.

Everything is going straight to bookstores, same for Undead Unluck. They have faith this will lead to increase in sales for those series. Since they already had the results beforehand, they didn't order reprints for Mashle 1 and 2 for the same timeframe but they had to order them anyway because Mashle is popular regardless of how it fared in the award lol.

Yeah, both series had reprints going out yesterday so if there's any boost we should see it in the following days.

Congratulations on Undead Unluck for winning Tsugimanga! It may be weird that Mashle didn't run away with the awards, considering it's actually successful, but just because you're bigger doesn't mean your fanbase is as passioniate about the manga. Undead Unluck could've just had a more passioniate fanbase who voted and wanted to see the series succeed.

Hopefully all the ranked series get a boost in sales! I really want Komi ni Koto to stay, so please get a boost in sales.
