If things go well, we could be having 4 hits this year (Undead Unluck and Mashle are surviving for sure; Magu-chan and Ayakashi Triangle could survive too). It would be the year with most hits since 2012. But for the moment, all 4 hits aren't the usual "Jump 100k hit, is becoming a big thing", but "the 30k club is back to life".
Funniest thing is that if Moriking survives or we get another manga that becomes at least a 30k club, 2020 would be the year with most survivors since the legendary 2004.
It may have something to do with the weirdness of this year, though. With many more new series than usual and many more slots to occupy than usual, in the end something is necessarily going to stick.
1. Hard-Boiled cop and Dolphin: I am not a blind fan and all your criticism are true, it just has a strange charm on me. I just hope there are less boobs chapters like the last one and more chapters focused on the misteries surrounding the island. While it's true that it hasn't found its identity yet, I think it has the biggest potentiality of the four that will pay off when it will finally find it. But I fear that by that time it will be already too late.
2. Magu-chan: God of Destruction: This should be a safer bet, it is funny and gives a warm feeling, and it also seems well received, so let's hope it will stick around more. Out of the three "kid with weird mascot" current series, it seems the one less focused on gags and more on the overall atmosphere, and this will hopefully pay off in the long term.
3. Me&Roboco: On the opposite, this series is just gag after gag after gag, and when they land they're really funny, when they don't it's really meh. My current hit/miss ratio is more on the miss side, but it's not an heavy lecture so it can keep trying until eventually another Madokaaaaa level chapter arrives.
4. Ayakashi Triangle: Bland story and great focus on ecchi: not my piece of cake. If I judge it objectivelly though, I see that the author is experienced and knows what his series has to do to stay around (Tamura should be experienced too, but...).
