The Kimetsu backlog has really made it much more difficult than it already was for a series to appear in the top 50. With almost half the slots constantly occupied, and the first few slots usually going to the biggest series for whatever is getting released, that leaves newer series with a lot less chances to get into that barrier.Boruto climbing again, started at 7th and now it's at 5th, it would be really cool if shows a growth compared to the last one
Undead performance resembles me vol 4 of Yozakura, started really good at the top 20 but in 3 days already got out of the top 50, but at least has more chances of appearing on Oricon.

A pretty disappointing number for Undead considering every variable playing here. It's a normal growth from Volume 2, around 2.500 copies more in 1 day less (13.521 for Volume 2 in 4 days, 16.105 for Volume 3 in 3 days), but that's just it, a normal growth that should have happened without anything else happening. Knowing that Volumes 1 and 2 have been ranking daily since results were revealed for Tsugimanga and that they even spiked back when Volume 3 released, this is a bit low. I was at least expecting 18-19.000 copies since Oricon number will probably be even lower. And that's not even considering it appearing on King's Brunch, but I was the one who said that it could do nothing at all given we had past records of it not boosting anything, so I guess I knew already?
Volume 3 seems to have better hold though and the first two volumes backlogs are stable too. I think it will still pass 30k first month.
Isn't Kingdom like a 700k seller?? OP will do much more than that first week.
Not denying any of that, and still even expecting it to show a better improvement in the following weeks and hopefully reaching 4th week for the first time of this series. Still, it could have had a better start.

No it can't, why are we even having this argument? OP's last volume sold 1mln in 3 days, Kingdom's sold 420k. Now as much as OP's sales are declining and Kingdom's are healthy, this gap isn't going to close next volume, how is this even a question lmao.
Kimetsu didn't randomly triple its sales overnight which is what Kingdom would need to beat OP next week. Are you guys even following the conversation??
