Well. This should be the last time I'm this late, since I'm actually home from now on.
(Chapters from last week, in case anyone didn't get that.)
MHA: Was it the intent that I got much more invested in the flashback than in the actual fight? Because I was.
BC: Instant Power-Up incoming.
Dr Stone: One win, one loss, one cliffhanger. Next chapter please.
UU: I love the little details in this one, like Izumo using Andy as a boxing ball when she's frustrated, or Apocalypse laughing his ass off in the background. They make the world feel so much richer.
Mashle: Glad to see some jokes again. When did Mash learn to lie like that? (The Divine Visionary has power level 6702. That seems like something worth remembering.) (Also the Big Bad is still cute. Dot is gonna be so pissed.)
Robocco & me and Moriking have a very similar style of humour, with the 'pets' doing absurd things and the straight man providing commentary from the corner. But R&M has the advantage that it can adapt to all kinds of situations, while Moriking just introduced its final boss. (R&M celebrating its 10th chapter doesn't come across as very ambitious though. But better than being overconfident, I guess.)
Phantom Seer and Our Blood Oath are the opposite: very similar premises, completely different tone. Though I can't fathom why OBO would decide to do filler in the second chapter. (Also how come the kid that was touted as a legend last chapter can't hold his own for two minutes?)
Ayakashi Triangle looks like it's attempting a plot after all. It's starting to remind me of both Kekkaishi and Natsume's Book of Friends.
Cop & Dolphin is.. also attempting a plot, I think? It's never quite clear with this series.
Yozakura was a little preachy this week. And those parents dropped their long-time convictions really easily.
Magu-chan: I thought we were going full yuri for a moment. Kind of disappointed it didn't happen (I don't particularly care for yuri, but it would've been an awesome way to ask somebody out).
AB: Reading a Wikipedia recap of a game I don't know the rules of isn't nearly as exciting as it was apparently supposed to be. Some of the jokes still worked, but the chapter where they were watching tv was more entertaining.
High school family does nothing for me.
