Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

If my memory serves right:

-Black Clover - 10 million copies
-Jujutsu Kaisen - 8.5 million copies
-Dr.Stone - 7.5 million copies

I wonder if My Hero Academia will finally reach officially the 30m number with next volume

That's an interesting number. Black Clover's anime debuted when the manga had 13 volumes out and 4,400,000 in circulation, while Jujutsu Kaisen will have the same amount of volumes (well kind of since there's still volume 0 so technically 14 volumes) once the anime debuts and it has managed to almost double Black Clover's circulation. Jujutsu Kaisen will probably cross the 10 million mark in no time. Shokugeki no Souma had 12 volumes out and 6,300,000 in circulation when the anime started and The Promised Neverland also had 12 volumes but had 8,800,000 in circulation. Jujutsu Kaisen is in a really good spot right now.

I'm also curious to see if Black Clover's circulation number finally gets updated, it's been stuck at 10 million for a really long while.

My Hero Academia's anime debuted much earlier when the series had only 8 volumes, it had 4,700,000 in circulation by then. By the time volume 13 got released, season 2 was starting and it had 10,000,000 in circulation.

I think the editors of jump could transfer magu chan and Agravity boys to jump + or saikyou jump (in the case of magu chan). After all, the two seem popular on the internet.

Where did you get the idea that they are popular online? (serious question BTW)

They are always good at voting on Twitter.
Agravity boys already had a fanart made by another artist, already competed for awards, has an official page on twitter, has already been nominated on a radio program together with Undead unluck.
I think they could be transferred, mainly Agravity.

-As someone said non Japanese people also vote too
-I didn't know that fan art from another artist can be used as a measurement for popularity. I see it as trivia
-Which radio program are you talking about

Reading the third chapter of Our Blood Oath made me ask one question: why the hell was this not the second chapter?! The actual second chapter being a filler with almost nothing happening except showing the house of the siblings and introducing a pet character. Meanwhile, the third chapter introduces the school environment of Shin, introduces the third recurring character and establishes an overarching plot thread. This is all stuff that should be happening in the second chapter instead of... that hide and seek bs that we got in the actual second chapter.

This is probably for me the best My Hero Academia chapter of this current arc. It has been amazing in every sense. Also, what a Mashle chapter. And wtf Chainsawman.

And this is my weekly ranking:

My Hero Academia
Mashle
Chainsawman
Jujutsu Kaisen
We Never Learn
Magu-chan
Dr.Stone
Mission of Yozakura Family
One Piece
Undead Unluck
Hardboiled Cop and Dolphin
Honomieru Shonen
Ayakashi Triangle
Moriking
Our Blood Oath
Agravity Boys
Kokosei Kazoku
Roboco and Me

I was really worried that My Hero Academia would never top Kamino Ward, especially as it had been like 150 chapters when this arc started. Glad to be wrong; this arc has been superb. Art is also A+

Yozakura was fine this week, no strong feelings on any of it

Agravity was ok this week, didn't really laugh at it and almost feels like it's setting up a final arc. But as a gag series, it's pretty hard to call

Undead and Mashle were both pretty good with some solid action

Morking was good, the joke at the end was super predictable but otherwise it was a decent chapter

Ayakashi was good as well, but I'm still pretty neutral on the series

I'm glad Magu finally introduced another god of chaos, as much as I like the cast this felt pretty overdue

I liked this arc of Dolphin quite a bit, especially compared to the chapters before it started. Not fully rooting for it yet but I've been enjoying reading it so far

Roboco was pretty good, the gag was funny enough for the chapter

Phantom was decent, it still feels pretty by the numbers but it's been entertaining enough so far

HSF was ok, didn't really find it funny but the cast is starting to grow on me

Blood Oath was actually solid, I have no idea what that previous chapter was when this chapter would work just fine as a ch2. My optimism has recovered a bit but I'm still not hopeful.

OP, Dr Stone, WNL, and JJK were all great this week. The Ashumi route is all that I wanted in a what if route and is far better than previous routes.

MHA killed me through sadness and Chainsaw Man killed me through laughs, good week for the mainstays. Also yeah the Senpai arc is undoubtedly the best of the what if routes, unless sensei can top it but I'm doubtful. Really liked this week's Yozakura, hope this arc can last a few more chapters. It's be nice to have an actual story arc that isn't just action and can focus on the setting and characters for once. Seriously, why wasn't this Blood Oath's second chapter, it still wasn't great or anything and the vampire exorcism stuff is still disappointing, but at least this one introduced a clear direction and secondary cast for the series. Part of me worries it's too late but I really honestly do want to see this get better.

These polls are skewed by non Japanese twitter users who use the Japanese name of the series in hashtags
To be fair, I’m pretty sure Red Hood isn’t translated(or at least wasn’t translated at the time of that poll release), and highly doubt many English reader even know what t is, let alone read it. I don’t put it past English fans to just vote for a series based on a cool cover. But I highly doubt a large percentage of its voters came from ppl participating in the poll just to vote for Red Hood
