To be fair, there's not an exact way to compare them since Agravity Boys has only had 3-day first weeks and this is a 5-day first week. But if we were to compare them, all 3 series would be ahead of Agravity Boys. The series's last volume sold around 5,700 copies in its first week according to estimates. The second week is much more important in this case so we'll have to wait another week.

So sounds like They should all do better than Agravity Boys, but not by too much. Guess we'll have to wait until the monthly chart for a better estimate.

If most of the magazine is doing decent, I can’t see them going an entire year where we get nearly no new series. I’d imagine we’d still get at least 10 new series for the year. So I’d imagine we’d start getting axes on the lower decent sellers.

I’m satisfied with the manga series that im reading right now. Ones in Jump, and outside of Jump.
I’m not worried for the overall state of Jump. It’s not like the magazine is just gonna die, and it’s unlikely that it’s status as the top manga magazine is going away anytime soon. Even if we don’t get a hit next year, a magazine will always have its ups and downs. 2021 could be a bad year for new series, while 2022 and 2023 could be a great year

tbh I think we're starting to get our new standard. The standard for new series has been lowered since Mitama and jump's expectations are low, but now with so many series succeeding it'll start to raise so even selling 10k in its first month might not become passable

Now that Mission of Yozakura Family is licensed in France, and Undead Unluck by Viz, I guess is just question of time for both of them to come to Spain. I want to buy the Yozakura volumes for sure.

If I remember right, Okamoto voiced Bakugou in the vomics before landing the role permanently with Bones (Or was it Yamashita?). At that point, I think he was fairly well-known, but not an A-list tier seiyuu. That includes Yamashita as well.

Actually it wasn't him. If I remember correctly, it was Umehara Yuuichirou. Deku was Yamashita from the beginning. At that time, Umehara was pretty much a newbie. Yamashita was a bit more famous thanks to Yowamushi Pedal.

Even though they're partial reprints, that's better than nothing. Plus, now the Amazon listing for Magu-chan says it's in stock again. I'd love it if both of these end up continuing to grow. I still think if the initial print would've been a little higher for Magu-chan, it would've ranked higher in the first week of Shoseki results.

I know it's silly to jump to such conclusions off of a promo, but I wonder if this is going full on "A Mysterious Door Has Opened And Now I'm In Minecraft" isekai territory.
