Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

I disagree, naruto was pretty unique, ofc not hxh lvl of master mind writing but still. It labeled & powerhoused a whole freaking demopgraph Into the new gen (next to Dbz ofc) of global impact. that's alot to respect for.
Impacting future generations =/= Unique.
You're mixing up two different things here.

That excuse no longer serves much for the fact that Roboko is also comedy and is well positioned.

I think what counts for OBO should also apply to HSF.
HSF runs shorter chapters and even sometimes runs two chapters in a single issue. Those are clear indications that HSF is serialized under different set of rules, similar to Isobee.
All of the other comedies and series run regular chapter lengths and single chapters in each issue.

Sorry, it's no use.

Mitama also had two chapters at times, it is not so different from HFS.
Roboko just doesn't have extra chapters because the author doesn't want to, but he could because the manga is being well accepted.

Not entirely true, Mori and Roboko are at 15 pages, so both have less than usual as well.
So far, HSF greatly differs from Isobee, which almost always had two chapters initially, 1 of them being at the bottom 1 slot of TOC.

Think it’s still to early to judge how HSF is doing, we should at least wait to see how it’s sales with do

Let's see:
Jaguar have arround 8-10 chapters.
Hogh school family have 13 page chapters.
Bobobo if i remember well have 15-16 page per chapter.
Saiki have arround 16-17 page chapter(i don't remember how many)
Moriking have 17 page chapters.
Roboco have arround 17 page chapterd
Mashle have arround 20 page chapters.
Magu have arround 20 page chapters.
Agravity have arround 20 page chapters.
Mitama have arround 19 page chapters.
Idk High school felt like it have less pages than the others

So the same goes for OBO, not least because this year's TOC is anything but reliable.

Black clover also has 13 to 15 pages and that is not a reason to put it on the botton.

Lol. What is the logic of this comparison?

Black clover sometimes has lower page counts which attributes to the mangaka being unable to do larger chapters, similar to why sometimes BC has unfinished art.
HSF, by choice, consistently puts out shorter chapters and multiple chapters.

Literal apples to babies comparison here.

Yes, I know all that you said.

But that doesn't change the fact that we are protecting a manga that is in the botton just because of the number of pages.

I understand that you like HSF but you can't always protect the series.

Eh. HSF can die tomorrow for all I care.
But thanks for assuming things for me.

We aren't protecting it(I prefer Magu and Agravity than HSF) , if it axed is axed.
We are talking about the possibility that HSF is going to be in the 'Jaguar spot' and usually that spot is for series with few pages.
And is a posibility because 1)Isobee was in that spot 2) outside the other series it have fewer pages per chapter

Look, you are defending the manga with all your strength just because I said that he is also on the bottom.

I'm providing logical reasons why a series done by this mangaka might have the same rules as his previous work because it too had shorter chapters, multiple chapters, was a comedy and was allowed to run in the magazine for as long as he wanted despite being kept in the back end of the magazine.

Your reasoning - Bottom bad.

If it was ending the magazine like Isobe though, surely it'd be at the very end instead of above Blood Oath. I think it's probably just not doing very well.

Oh I don't deny that.
It could very well be not popular.

Or for all we know Nak doesn't know what to do with placements yet.

But ruling out the mangaka's new series won't get the same treatment as his previous work when they are both comedies with multiple shorter chapters etc etc is quite short sighted.

Dear.

"Bottom bad" is not my own reasoning.

All the manga that always appear on the Bottom the first thing to think about is that the manga is not being well received.

Of course there are exceptions to the rule, but that is not why the thought that "Bottom bad" is wrong for HFS, regardless of gender. if the manga sells well great otherwise bad.

This year's jump editorial team must be different from the time that isobe was published. We are not in 2013 so there is no way to say that HFS will have the same isobe treatment.

Querido.

"Bottom bad", não é um raciocínio só meu.

Todos os mangás que sempre aparecem no Bottom a primeira coisa a se pensar é que o mangá não tá sendo bem recebido.

Claro que tem exceções a regra, mas não é por isso que o pensamento de que "Bottom bad" seja errado para HFS, independente do gênero. se o mangá vender bem ótimo caso contrário ruim.
Querido.

It felt like is your only reason because we are saying that being in jaguar deal MAY be the reason it is in the botton but it could also be ranking bad.And then your are saying that it isn't because Black clover have 1 or 2 chapter with 13 pages( a bad proof)
Also, are you using google translate?

What I mean is that we consider OBO dead because of the low position. So the same goes for HFS.

And there is no way to know if it is the same situation as Jaguar, in the end we do not know if it is the same editorial team at that time, things have changed a lot since then.

I edited the Google translator part.

I appreciate that you’re attempting to communicate in English, even though you’re not a native English speaker.

Although, I would point out a few things so you can better communicate without it seeming awkward.

Don’t refer to Jump as “the Jump” and also, don’t refer to a manga as he or she, which I’ve noticed you do frequently. It’s not proper use of English.
