With the current volume you can see is a matter of stock but there's not a single other volume in the top 500 and its doing poorly since day 4 at least, it will probably come back with the new episode next week but maybe JJK already (or very close to) reach the peak in sales, which still pretty big btw

About Shoseki, Yozakura dropping only 3 positions! This compensated for the last 30+ drop, but Jesus, what happened with Magu-chan? The series is dropping hard:

Magu-chan

Vol.1: #40 > #89 > #96 > #194 > #238 > #209 > #362 > #343 > #436 > #Out (didn't returned from here)
Vol.2: #50 > #70 > #140 > #202 > #349 > #473
whats the side by side for Yozakura so far

Yozakura Family

Vol.1: #40 > #60 > #69 > #114 > #125 > #140
Vol.2: #47 > #63 > #145 > #57 > #109 > #214
Vol.3: #41 > #69 > #67 > #86 > #151 > #234
Vol.4: #16 > #52 > #71 > #114 > #114 > #120
Vol.5: #43 > #69 > #73 > #83 > #74 > #140
Vol.6: #22 > #37 > #40 > #75 > #103 > #106

Despite some 30+ drop in the last 2 days is overall performing much better than all volumes

Well, that's very unfortunate about Megu. I wish it can pick itself back up soon.
When can we expect volume 2 numbers for Roboco?

Pretty much everything we expected. Jujutsu Kaisen will have its reprint in 3 days as previously scheduled. Chainsaw and Stone join the party, and Mashle of course receives its reprint close to the one Volumes 1 to 3 will have on January 22nd. Surprised at this new bookstore reprint for Yozakura, which didn't get one since Volume 2. Sadly, this doesn't help Magu-chan at all; neither Agravity, Moriking, or Our Blood Oath, but all of those were dead on arrival.

As for the extras, that Haikyu!! Volume seems to be quite the treasure, would love to have it licensed in my country someday. Also really nice to see Slam Dunk going wild after the announcement, even if that just means another wall that comes with World Trigger, and the already established ones (Chainsaw Man, SPYxFAMILY, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kimetsu no Yaiba, The Promised Neverland...).

I've been seeing jp twitter talk about it being sold out in their local stores so it's not really surprising

Selling out in stores becomes a bit tricky though, even more when it comes to smaller series. The fact that a volume is not available in a certain store or a certain chain doesn't mean the volume is completely unavailable, even if Amazon keeps having some of the lowest stock we have ever seen. It could easily mean they just sold the stock they had at the store, but warehouses should still have enough of it. Having this reprint issued means that even when they stock with warehouses' copies, those probably won't be enough due to higher demand than expected. This is why even if there are also tweets of people who can't find Magu-chan copies, or even AGRAVITY BOYS copies, those series won't be reprinted anyway. Same thing has happened with series such as Me & Roboco or even Shakunetsu, but their outcomes have been different.

Of course, a higher amount of "unavailability tweets" means there are higher chances volumes are truly out of stock, but it won't be a 100% guaranteed chance they'll get a bookstore reprint. Still, Yozakura usually gets reprints consistently, even if warehouses' ones, so it was bound to have something coming.

This has been a pretty great week for Yozakura, I hope to see its growth get celebrated soon with Cover and/or CP. Looks like it’s going to miss Oricon top 50 but I think if it continues to grow it could get there. Mashle’s hold also continues to be impressive. Agravity probably held on longer now than when it was alive so I’m thinking it definitely got an ending boost. I’m interested in seeing how the performance for volume 5 is, considering its ending won’t be as recent.

As for Magu...I’ve spent the last few days going to sleep and waking up feeling absolute dread ngl. Unless it’s doing very well in the surveys that we don’t see these sales are making it clear it’s fourth in line to go (after OBO, Dolphin if it doesn’t grow and probably HSF) so the next serialization rounds need to play out the right way for us to pad things out through the summer, but I do hope given its reception that it at least gets an Agravity-length run. If we have a miracle maybe volume 3 can do a little better since March will be slightly less packed, but I fear they’re going to stop promoting it if the numbers that come out with weekly aren’t at least slightly above or close to volume 1’s. Time to make like the destruction disciples and pray for our god.

...I want a hug T_T

They're more than likely going to announce Stone Ocean anime at this event lol. I can't wait for April :hip
Would this technically make Jojo one of the few WSJ series with a complete anime adaptation? Part 7 did briefly run in WSJ but it was officially considered a new series back then (and I think is still categorised that way on Japanese sites). I think the current full list of series with complete anime is

Kinnikuman (the original series)
Dr Slump
Captain Tsubasa
Stop! Hibari-kun (unsure about this)
Cat's Eye (also unsure)
Kimagure Orange Road (also unsure)
Dragon Ball
Saint Seiya
Ninku
DNA2
Level E
Yugioh
Naruto
Prince of Tennis
Busou Renkin
Death Note
Hatsukou Limited
Bakuman
Ass Class
Food Wars

Less than 20 total from a quick check (unless I missed some old stuff which is very possible) and even then 6 of those series are less than 100 chapters so only 15 or so full length manga. There is some more that'll join the list in the next few years however, like Bleach, Dragon Quest, Shaman King, and maybe even Muhyo and Roji since they teased s3 and it'd only need 4 seasons total.

Sometimes I forget the Blue Arc was adapted.
Sometimes I forget it existed.

Would Hoshin Engi count as a full adaptation? The 2018 anime showed almost the entire manga...in a very rushed way though.

Does We Never Learn count because technically the anime did finish even though it's different from the manga.

I would say no, if we are talking about full adaptations. Otherwise we would have to include other ones like Toriko (painful memories).
To be honest, I cannot give an estimate of how many examples would fit in this extention as I would likely forget quite a few.

I mean kaiju 8 was like 200k print...
That's just one series. That said, I guess, it's more accurate to state that its primarily WSJ series that are being underprinted. Everything from older series to newbies. Practically everything irrespective of how high or low they sell seem to get some form of reprints.
Something that wasn't seen before the S8 debacle.

Ugh, Toriko's anime. What an unfortunate adaptation.
