I'm not sure what kind of boosts the winners usually get from it, but in terms of prestige, I'd put it second only to the Tezuka Prize.
Any chance we see another boost?
Edit: Nevermind, I guess this award isn’t one of the prestigious ones, as it’s unlikely to boost sales.
Cool exhibit!
Akira amano (Reborn)
They are currently busy with their current manga.
The St&rs pair split up and are doing different works. The author is currently doing Yuukoku no Moriarty in SQ while the artist is doing Shijinsou no Satsujin over at Jump Plus.
Bruh, 22k for Phantom Seer? This seems too good even knowing how inflated Shoseki can be sometimes, but anyway, this really makes the terrible rankings looks weird, no way the series is in any danger for now, so maybe Jump could try push a little more at least with better placements
Can anyone help me understand the numbers at the bottom? The numbers mason
Each rank corresponds to the number of sales
No? Yozakura sold 21.5k in its first week, while Phantom seer sold 22k in its first month.
Yes for vol 6. But up to maybe vol 4 it probably outsold it in a month, no? And probably out up a valiant fight against vol 5 and 6. Yet they keep giving yoza cp
I mean it could also be due to how surveys are going? Vol 4 sold 23k
Because Yozakura is showing constant growth in both sales and rankings for a good while, also over a year, isn't much of a mystery, Jump is only doing what they should be doing, Phantom Seer is just getting at 20 chapters, started good but we don't know how it will do with vol 2, it can grow or can do as Magu-chan and sell around the same, is a matter of waiting and see.
We don’t 100% know how the ToC works.
