• It'is up to you to define what is "hot". It sn’t just about abs, or pretty faces (though those help). It could also be about presence, charisma, voice if applied, attitude, and that aura that makes a character unforgettable.You’re free to define “hot” however you want, elegant, dangerous, soft, confident, mysterious, … as long as they made you feel something.
• Characters from 18+ games are not allowed. Please keep it appropriate.
• Honorable mentions are allowed.
• If you want to add comments/explanations, I will gladly add them in the countdown.
• As long as deadline is not reached, you can change your lists as much as you want.
• Please, rank your top following the usual format :

- Are anime manga characters like Bulma or Nami or Comics/Marvel and such characters, eligible?

There are plenty of games that are adapted from manga/animes, technically they are video game characters, but we just had an anime/manga characters round, I believe if possible, I prefer players to avoid nominating characters coming from original manga/anime medium ( I am aware that sometimes it's hard to tell, like in Pokemon /fate series, I believe game came out 1st). I have accepted last round maybe some characters that were coming potentially from anime adapted from original video games, though.​

- I want to join but, I know nothing about video games.

The host knows almost nothing about games, however, she managed to make a list so don't worry if she could do a list, anyone can do ! It's about hotness character round, you don't need to have any game prior knowledge, you only have to pick the ones you like,it can help to no for sure but not a requirement. If you don't know any games, you can check out the popular licenses Wikia ( such as Genshin Impact, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, Street fighters, League of Legends, Pokemon, etc.) You can check characters in previous mafia games' video games themes to help you :​

- Is there any restriction regarding game eligibility?

You can't nominate several times the same character from different games, if you want, for example, to nominate Link from Zelda, just specify the one you want to feature, I will count only one Link. Otherwise, you can nominate any character from any video game, be it an older game or newer, online or consoles, any kind of game works. Though please, nominate only humanoid characters (pokemon, monsters, animals are not eligible, elfs, androids etc are allowed) and avoid nominating a minor character, like an onlooker, like this:​

Mizai and Cheadle are probably the most popular Zodiacs outside of the MC duo for obvious reasons but I am rather indifferent to him TBH. Komugi is great, Oito as well.

Ah Oito...I agree she's actually the best in the royal family: smart, beautiful and a caring mother with empathy to spare. Really liked her confession to Kurapika about her "realizing what was truly important"....I was gonna put her in the list, but sadly had to reserve that spot to another character from the same arc, who imo is going through a far greater ordeal...

LOL I totally forgot her. Should have included her in my HMs at least. I knew something like that was going to happen .

As for the royal wives, we don't know much about them in the first place. Duazul seems to have a good head on her shoulders as well. Unlike Sevanchi .

you-know-which, just broke my heart. She appeared at 1st when she was introduced, as a mean girl and ended up being the sweetest, damn such a good character ! . This family is so insane, those two sisters deserve so much happiness. Loved too her dynamism with Senritsu (Melody).

Oh gosh, this will be long.

Of all the Zodiacs Kanzai is the one I am the most curious about. He seems to be a complete moron but it is also implied that he is very strong even among them. I wonder how it's possible when you need to use your brains to deal with so many different types of opponents and their abilities at a high level. Even Uvo wasn't just dumb muscle.

I'm interested in his ability more than anything, but I have the gut feeling that Zodiacs abilities will be showcased on Dark Continent and I'm not sure how the combat abilities will fare there.

Genthru isn't bad, but he pales in comparison to the more charismatic villains in the series. His ability is pretty cool too. I would have liked to learn more about his two friends. They were pretty much Mook 1 and 2.

I think that knowing them more would have been boring. Greed Island is a training arc much like Heaven's Arena. Character arcs should be shallow, else will be detracting a bit of the goal of these kinds of arcs.

Genthru was the highlight to the GI AMV. Also Gon Vs Genthru is prime example of Strategy being used to defeat a stronger opponent

The twist was that Gon could have defeated Genthru with just smarts, but He opted to prove also that he is strong. Not sure if that fight is the prime example XD Hanzo vs Gon strikes me as a better example.

Prime example? I wouldn't say so. Maybe for Killua's fight since everything went as planned. But Gon's fight was rather different .

Our boy likes to lose parts of his body.

I wonder if his Nen will evolve to represent that.

His ability is WEIRD. That many people and that much Nen to just replace a body? Unless they show that it does something else, then I feel he's way overestimated.

A prime example of the good character development in this series. His "showdown" with Meruem was iconic

One of the most interesting quimera ants as well. He was SO human in so many ways. I enjoyed a lot his ability as well, his match with Ikalgo was incredible.

Glad someone gave her a few points. We barely see her after the beginning, but she's been a great mother for sure.

I like her, but honestly, she is BORING.
There are some other characters who are tied to one place that I find even more enjoyable. I don't know why She rubs the wrong way for me. Maybe She's way too nostalgic.

Welfin was definitely one of my favorite Ants. But with a Top 10 I preferred to list only one.
Didn't expect Colt to be ranked.

I want to see more Zodiac jutsu, especially dragon grandpa who's said to approach Netero in terms of name and ability

He will probably die in a lame way just because of that.

I thought Aussies loved kangaroos .

And to be killed by everything, so it kinda matches.

Koala is a great pick, was in my mind as well, but felt bit too minor to include.
Halkenburg is definetly the most interesting Prince this far, addition to Tserre of course.
Colt is a cute side-character, a good brother and surrogate father. Could have had a bigger role in the story imho.

All princes are interesting, at least for me. I'm way too invested in the last arc, but even with bias I can say this is one of the top arcs in the history of Togashi as an author.

Definitely among the best ants, really fun and chill dude.

I would actually enjoy keeping reading about him, He is charismatic.

Shoot is definitely an underrated badass. His character development was pretty neat, but sadly overshadowed by other characters who also got developed in that arc. I especially like this quote of his in the moments of his epiphany:
"I want to shout to the whole world...'This is Gon!!'"
In a way, it also put more light on Gon's awesomeness.

I'm so glad to see Mito made it to the list (good one @kira ), a truly caring and down to earth foster parent. Also, she's a freecs too. Although not an important detail, but I really like that Togashi draws Gon's eyebrows shape similar to her's, but not to Ging's.

@Miss Pikachu I'm happy to see Bill on the list, definitely one of the best characters in the current arc, and maybe one of the kindest too? (so far at least) good choice.

He's fun to read and good support, but definitely not the best.

I really enjoy reading about her. For me, she represents a mother in the purest form. I'm really intrigued by how her desire to protect her baby will translate to an ability.

A really good character who truly shines in what's easily the best pair in Hunter x Hunter. She obviously gets overshadowed by you know who, but she's of vital importance to the story for a reason.

She was my 12th pick (Yes, I have a secondary list as well. I couldn't resist). Her determination was so incredible badass.

I really like Mizai, he's the most balanced among the zodiac, has a great intuition and sense of justice. However, I worry about him not being taken seriously when he shows up in that get up, especially when dealing with people outside the association xD
