Oh Ikalgo is such a sweet character, I am so happy he's ranked that high, Im a sucker when it comes to kind characters, this one, just blew my mind, he was one of the 1st ant to be nice, gentle, caring, he is funny and sweet and i just love his weakness, this sweet little octo-kun guy can't kill, and i love that, hes such a bro, i love his look too he's so cute, really an awesome character and the only ant ranked in my main list.

Knov's ability is among the most Op, i mean this guy can easily be a beast, Chimera Ants arc, is an arc all about humanity, i love how Togashi did treat him instead of using the easy road. I like to see a strong character acting as a human, having normal emotions, and taking the necessary blow to remind him "don't look down on us, you re a mere human, bro" maybe his treatment sounds unfair, but Knov became so much more humble, I like better that than a nonsensical power battle and it shows too power/ability isnt the only things that counts in battle.

I don't know I found Ging to be dislikable throughout the series. I appreciate the fact that the manga features a father figure to live his own life, as in reality not everyone is cut out to be a parent. However, I found this guardian from afar concept around him and also that he had to be like this super genius bit cheesy, albeit every child wishes that to be true about their dads - so like, good for Gon, but meh.

Ging is uninteresting imo. Worst father than Goku. Selfish, cocky and irresponsible. Found his screentime a waste of time.

Gon's father figure. If there's one mistake the 2011 anime did, then it's cutting him out from the early part. Pretty cool guy, but manga readers probably understood the weight of his sacrifice much better.

I like her design The cool and tough beauty of the Phantom Troupe, it's not hard to see why she has quite a few fans. Suffers from the "We barely see you syndrome" too, sadly.

I wish we saw more of Kite, he was a BAMF, had a cool power (well at least the mechanics were amusing) and so kind while also strict. A great character.

You're making a good point, but people will always judge things by their standards, it's unavoidable. Otherwise anything becomes acceptable.

Its as you said, Ging isnt raising an ordinary child but a hunter, same as Killua's parents or Nasubi Hui guou (Kakin's king), they re raising assassins or futur king. Family, sibling, parenting is a focal theme in HxH we get to see all kinds, the best (kacho and fugetsu, colts mother for exple) and the worst, but yep we cant judge them by our standards, i dont think Ging is the worst, i've actually never thought anything about him from an ethical perspective, just that he's a great and eccentric hunter and that we probably dont know yet anything about him, Gon was not deprived from "family" love, he lived happily with Mito caring for him ( compared to Kurapika who lost everyone, or Killua who went through torture etc hes not the most unfortunate one), that was part of Ging's plan too, and i have no idea how much he planned but he definitely was ambitious even with his son.

One of my fave characters, you know what shes worth just by seeing how much kurapika respects her, and trusts her. She is the epitome of kindness, and its refreshing to see a character like that , that manages to stand that high and makes it that far, still being herself, never giving in to malice, in such a cruel world as HxH's
I like how the Dark Sonata shes looking for, was introduced at a very early stage of the manga, and it makes even more sense, now, as its pretty obvious it is related to the Dark continent. Im wondering if its even related to this :
