It was a lot of charity from jump to have kept C&D until now. That's assuming they only cancel one series next round. Which is rare.

It is a series from a Veteran creator. Veterans are typically always allowed more time a leeway with a new seriesIt was a lot of charity from jump to have kept C&D until now.
Except for BK, seeing that this has been canceled. It is a series from a Veteran creator. Veterans are typically always allowed more time a leeway with a new series
“typically”Except for BK, seeing that this has been canceled.

Again. I said “typically”, not “always”.Build King's ending on ch 20 while Agravity Boys lasted more than a year.
Veterans don't get more leeway, they just generally perform slightly better than newbie's flops, and slightly better can often be enough to stay alive for a while.
I think it's a bit too early to call Witch Watch safe. It's probably one of the safer bets, but I personally want to wait and see how it sells.Since we're getting 2-in-2-out this serialisation round, here's how I see the rest of the magazine once the next cancellations do come around issue #28:
Veterans:
Safe:
- One Piece
- Jujutsu Kaisen
- My Hero Academia
- Dr. Stone
- Black Clover
Too soon:
- Mashle
- The Elusive Samurai
- Undead Unluck
- Mission: Yozakura Family
- Sakamoto Days
- Me & Roboco
- WITCH WATCH
Fluctuating:
- Blue Box
- Ame no Furu
In danger:
- Ayakashi Triangle*
- Magu-chan: God of Destruction
- High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku
- Nine Dragons' Ball Parade*
- Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin
- I tell c
Basically, if it's another two series round then the options for the axe looks fairly obvious. If it's anymore then it'll just depend how the fluctuating series perform in the next month or two.
*Obviously things could change, mainly Nine Dragons and the rest of its round once we know the first volume sales to compare with others. I'm also not sure where Ayakashi Triangle stands with its stagnating sales and being a bottom 5 regular nowadays even if it seems to have that ecchi spot in the magazine secured.
It could fall in the next month or so (and I wouldn't be surprised) but I'm just basing off how things are today mostly. Either way, I think it'll only be in immediate danger if something suddenly goes horribly wrong.I think it's a bit too early to call Witch Watch safe. It's probably one of the safer bets, but I personally want to wait and see how it sells.

You cant say Elusive Samurai is safer than Mashle without even seeing its sales performance. This is not solely dependent on toc rankings. Undead and Ayakashi are safe. Definitely safer than higher ranking stuff like Magu chanAt the moment we have this situation (calculated since #01-2021 excluding color and lead color):
So i would put Undead Unluck lower on your list, while Elusive Samurai is really strong and safer than Mashle. Ayakashi Triangle could risk in 2 rounds or so.

Ecchi series are a bit hard to judge. Even TLR (Yabuki's previous ecchi series on Jump) was doing poorly in the ToC, if I remember well, but it lasted for quite a while. If it gets animated it might rise a bit in sales. The thing is that I believe AT has a better setting and general idea than TLR, however I have the feeling it might not have the same level of success with an anime.*Obviously things could change, mainly Nine Dragons and the rest of its round once we know the first volume sales to compare with others. So did Samon-kun. See how it wentAyakashi triangle has rumors of an anime in production.
To love ru is one of the best selling ecchis of the genre,i doubt that Ayakashi will got the same successEcchi series are a bit hard to judge. Elusive Samurai did nearly the same rank of Assassination Classroom in the first 6 issues and we all know how it went. It's a success 95% sure. You cant say Elusive Samurai is safer than Mashle without even seeing its sales performance. This is not solely dependent on toc rankings. Undead and Ayakashi are safe.
