Nicolas' height and weight being nearly comparable to Ohma's has to be the biggest plot twist of this chapter for me after seeing how "small" he was portrayed to be when he appeared along with other fighters

The vibe is Nicolas is dirty fighter: his brother talks about him as someone who should not be alive, netx he punches Akoya's arm before the oficial start, and there we have a panel with a sting, and next Akoya can't feel his arm. Maybe he injected him with some poison beforehand.

It may be poison or some sort of an acupuncture technique that affects the nerves. Either way, it looks like it doesn't last very long IMO. Nic was pretty chill during most of the episode. He didn't have any hurry to start up the match. Even going for a handshake and all of that, but as soon as that he hit Akoya he took some distance and he hurried Alisa to start the match already.

I wouldn't say forced.

Akoya is a bit faster but they're almost equally inhumanely fast. As impressive as it is, the slower one can manage to land some punches with the proper techniques, and LeBanner seems like a very technical fighter.

In fact, his punches seem to be about precision rather than about strength (hence the strange accupuncture-like effect they have on his opponent). Akoya likely didn't see those hits as dangerous before they connected.

So glad it seems to not be another worm impostor. Not sure I agree with the resilience thing. Not sure he could affect the nerves the same way through Wakatsuki's freak muscles or Julius' german engineered muscle mountains.

Yeah, there is some things that I think are great in his backstory (it seems that he graduated from St Cyr and he's more or less from an undercover branch of the GIGN, I apppreciate the effort).

And we still did not saw the "Explosion" which was mentioned by Lo Long.

It might be the first legit win pulled by the Purgotary.

Lolong had enough of this bloodthirsty BS and decided to step in to assert dominance. Can't wait for his turn. The amount of hype this man has recieved while doing nothing is absolutely nuts. I wonder what will be the result of this match tho, since it looks like it has ended already. It'll probably be a draw. At most, one could argue it will be Kengan's win due to the fight being stopped by a Purgatory fighter, but I don't think the Kengan side will nitpick this much. Probably one of my favourite fights in Omega along with Rihito vs Falcon, Naidan vs Ryuki and Jurota vs Hayami (even if I think the ending could have been handled a bit better).

So cruel. I used to hate this fighter of Justice, but began to admire him after this chapter somehow.
I think he should be the winner considering how Nicolas violated the rules multiple times and fought more aggressively.
But if this match is a draw, I believe it CAN pave the way for Koga to enter the tournament.

Although he stood up to oppose the two mindless freaks, there were several hints in this chapter that Lolong himself should be stopped as well. I look forward to his match, but I don't wish for a change of his personality during the match.

Two demon fists, one king, and ONE UNKNOWN. Finally, Terashi is addressed, not as a weakling or a mere member, but a complete mystery.
I couldn't say for sure if he was saved for later just because drawing a mask is easier than a face!!!
But his mysterious aspect is now directly implied. I'm so excited for his turn.

With this chapt (and only with this chap) he looks now like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. I'd prefer the cool beast in control of his powers pattern too. We'll see.

I felt sorrow for Akoya, who seems to be living in pain all the time (some Kaido's vib on wanting to get murdered). Not a fan of Akoya vs Nic fight, it seemed a bit forced to me in the judge trying to count when both figthers were able to fight still... Also they are not the first figthers trying to kill their opponent...
