Naidan, Edward Wu even though he is not participant and Lu Tian might be the only impressive fighters from Purgatory for now. Naidan looked impressive against Ryuki and his physical strength was noted to be on par with top fighters from Kengan like Wakatsuki, etc. Edward Wu still has a role to be Raian strongest opponent once the tournament is over and Lu Tian could have beaten Agito had Agito didn't improve.
Kuroki>Lu Tian>Old Agito but now Kuroki=New Agito>Lu Tian.
Alan Wu should be disqualified once he drew his dagger tbh. Imo the fight should end in a draw because even though Alan Wu broke the rule by drawing his dagger, Raian also killed Alan Wu.
The fact that Alan got included in the final roster of Purgatory, despite being a last-minute decision must mean that he was by no means a scrub. This was not Alan being weak, this was Raian being a monster far beyond our imagination. In the previous tournament, he was always restricting himself to only brute force and yet Kanoh deemed him as someone who outclassed Wakatsuki (without taking into account Blast Core). What would happen if you suddenly were to restrict Kanoh's formless and Martial Arts and have him rely on brainless brute strength? He might have lost to Okubo in the first round (and if it wasn't against Okubo, Gaolang would have definitely beat him IMO). Raian is a very skilled fighter who basically sealed every technique on his arsenal bar Removal and now he showed us what he was truly capable of during all time.
The Slaughter King got slaughtered. That being said, him getting wrecked to such a ridiculous degree was kinda disappointing. I was expecting something more. Misasa vs Yumigahama was a close call compared to this fight lol. Purgatory already didn't look very solid before this chapter but after this one, it just feels like they're stepping stones for the protagonists to show off the results of their training. Hopefully, whoever is the Tiger's Vessel and Lolong will bring more to the table. At least an extremely close fight like Falcon vs Rihito.
Hopefully, Edward Wu is the monster I expect him to be, because if he goes down on a similar fashion then I'll really be pissed. For now, he doesn't look very impressed that Raian managed to trash Alan, just slightly annoyed that he miscalculated. He called Alan his other half, which implies that he's probably into that Wu Hei brainwashing as well.
Chapter was very brutal and impactful. It also gave me the sensation that the story is finally moving (tbf I've been having this sensation for a couple of chapters but especially at this one) and not just the fights. Though it also made Purgatory look even worse and it's not like they were extremely solid beforehand. Alan Wu was a disappointment all around but at least we got introduced to the interesting concept of the brainwashing. I feel like this is going to be important for the future. Edward vs Raian will probably be the true Round 7 of Purgatory but in the shadows lol.
4-3 in favour of Purgatory I believe. Carlos won by ring-out. Falcon won against Rihito. Julius won against Toa. Misasa won against Yumigahama. Ryuki lost because he killed Naidan. Kanoh won and now Raian has lost by splitting his opponent in two lol.
Must be painful to have half of your winning points due to the other side killing your teammates. I kinda feel bad for the ones that aren't Worm infiltrates on Purgatory.
Poor Alan Wu. The guy hadn't even begun the fight. Was Wu Hei just as weak as him? lol. I start to feel bad for the Worm. A bunch of useless jobbers are sided with them.
I cannot believe sandrovich made the whole meme about lolong into cannon lol.
Anyway so there are 2 kings in purgatory lolong and jurota also another fighters name was called (kim jang gi) an A lister
Also toyota is so enjoying this whole situation , 3 new girl characters introduced and seems like jurota has some bussiness with hayami oh yes and okubo talking about jurota dressed weirdly feels weird
Since that scene with Raian, I knew Jurota would be one of the top dogs in Purgatory. That being said, I wasn't expecting him to be put on the exact same breath as Lolong. "The Gentle King", I love that epithet already, it's probably one of my favourite ones. As much as I love the Kengan Team, I'm rooting all the way for Jurota here. If even he ends up losing because he's weaker, I won't have any hope for Purgatory anymore. Kengan needs to take some legitimate Ls that aren't just by not respecting the rules (just like Rihito vs Falcon, we need more of these IMO).
Lol... same here about wishing Jurota to win this one. The character looks nice from the name to the cape and the eyes... I like the drawings of the mad-psycho faces, so I'm curious about what will be Jurota's manifestation of his dark side, maybe he also gets a mad face. (But if I remember well, Juroki didn't do the mad face, so not all the top fighters got that)...
Raian was running after Edward. It'd be a shame if the interaction is offpaneled.
Nice chapter. The fight is a promising one. More info on this mysterious guy, and there might be some hints on the role of Toyo Electric Power. Jurota has the looks of a man of Justice. I don't think he wins the match tbh.
If Jurota is one of the two kings, does that mean the remaining fighters are less powerful? I'm afraid Wakatsuki and the other Kengan powerhouses doesn't find their proper opponent.
Among the remaining gladiators, I have high hopes of Terashi as well. His fellow fighters don't treat him with respect most of the time. I can't figure out why a top fighter can be so calm when someone like Nicolas teases him. He is either a weakling who is too afraid to talk back, or he has other reasons to act like this. His face has also been covered with the mask. I wonder if there is more to his face or identity.
At jumping the gun and starting the fight before the bell, getting dominated, pulling a knife and being brutally murdered and still being rewarded the win.

Well... he pulled out the knife after raian dominated him well it was pretty obvious he would lose because when alan used removal raian fought him in his normal state what was interesting is how he was not dominated in his normal mode i think there were many hints implying that raian was much stronger.

There still room for surprise though. It was stated that Wu Hei's soul dwells within Alan Joke, and his Guihun is the true technique surpassing that of Lu Tian. His utter defeat after all the overhyping might look anticlimactic, but I suspect if the author is telling us something vis the two previous fights.
1. Lu Tian was the true successor to Niko the hedgehog. He stuck with the old teachings and was so full of himself. However, the Fang who had a wider choice of technique and more flexibility towards learning martial arts alongside formless method was the winner of the match.
Although Agito had to tame his traumatized feral persona amd reach a state of internal unity and balance to do so.
2. Alan Joke was from the only clan of assassins who still practiced Huisheng, and was practically host to the first Wu, and his Guihun was acknowledged by Wu Xing.
But he was easily defeated by Raian who used Cure Clan's techniques to dominate him and finished him with his own Removal.
I think there is a similar pattern here. Those who continued to improve their techniques and kept creating newer ones had a better performance compared to those who stuck to the ancient methods. I might simply be overthinking though.
After how dull his whole existence has been until now, I've gotten interested in Hayami in only two chapters, damn. Looking forward to learn more about him in this fight.
I still expect him to lose for the sake of the King of Purgatory's hype, but I want him to be strong and have a good fight.
