Phantom Seer wasn't "declining", it was at the bottom for nearly its entire run.

I never implied that Magu-chan wasn't doing well (it isn't, but just doing decently is a miracle these days), just that it isn't showing any kind of "phenomenal growth". Its growth is flat with a slight decline. But it's still doing well enough in the TOC to get a color page, just like Me & Roboco and HSF, so I'm happy for it. Doesn't really seem like there's any need to appeal to a mysterious metric we don't know of-- it's just the current trend.

Don't misunderstand, this has nothing to do with "settling to their placements". TES, ITC, WW, and KBP have already settled into their places: they pushed Magu down.

TES and WW replaced CM and WNL, which were both above Magu-chan. By that logic, Magu-chan should have kept the same placements. But it dropped by three.

I'm all for "giving it time", but keep in mind that in a few weeks C&D, ITC, and KBP will all be gone. At that point Magu comfortable position at the middle of the magazine will suddenly be the bottom of the magazine. But hey, there's still time for it to surprise us.
Magu chan has been in the magazine for almost a year. This should have already improved, even if relatively small. Roboko showed a greater improvement than magu chan.

You guys keep talking about Phantom seer, but did you see that the 3rd volume sold more than Sakamoto days? Nothing against Sakamoto, but it is a shame that a canceled manga sells more than a manga that is being promoted.

And there is no way to say that WW replaced WNL because they are very different stories. Just as there is no way to compare TES and CM.

Sakamoto had to get emergency reprintings didn't it. It probably had stock issues which is why phantom seer has performed better.

TOC positions, not story.

same thing without comparison.
I said two series that ranked above Magu got replaced with two (entirely different) series that ranked above Magu, yet Magu's average TOC dropped three places.

The conclusion was that Magu's drop was not due to these two series. I do not see what you're arguing against.

I think there’s too much worrying about Undead Unluck. I’m sure it’ll bounce back soon.
Didn’t popular series like Chainsawman have bottom placements as well?

Well, Chainsaw Man was a much more popular series from the start but i don't think anyone really believes the series is in any danger now, is just a interesting twist in the ToC to talk, but personally i do find a curious coincidence these 2 terrible positions at the same time the new volume is underperforming compared to the other releases

Just to add the "3rd week" comparison:

Undead Unluck #5 (49,381) - 18 Days
Undead Unluck #6 (43,372) - 17 Days

Mission: Yozakura Family #7 (32,025) - 18 Days
Mission: Yozakura Family #8 (33,400) - 17 Days

Phantom Seer #2 (22,033) - 18 Days
Phantom Seer #3 (22,407) - 17 Days

Same pattern like last week, Yozakura outperforming even if slightly, Phantom Seer too but Undead still behind.

You think it's because of lockdown or it just not gaining new fans like the others or probably a third unknown reason.

I believe Chainsaw Man was a lot more popular, and more of an anomaly in the magazine in comparison to UxU.

Not saying that UxU is in danger, but at the same time, I don’t think it’s necessary in the “there’s no way this could ever get axed before receiving an anime” zone as of now. I think if it’s towards the bottom in the next few weeks we could start to worry

Is hard to tell, the lockdown definitely had a effect since all releases started lower than normal, the problem is that most recovered nice in the 2nd week but UU is clearly doing less, at least according to Shoseki estimation, i think is better waiting for the next volume to make a actual judgement but maybe is getting stuck like Ayakashi.

Jump #24:

Great:
Jujutsu Kaisen
- A strong return of JJK. What a jerk of a parent and what a toxic clan...
Dr. Stone - Suika the MVP.
One Piece - What a chapter, such an anarchy.
Sakamoto Days - That was a great little flashback with the backstory of Shin and Asakura.

Good:
Blue Box
- So far, so good.
Kowloon's Ball Parade - That kind of a villain vibe at the end of the chapter in a sport series is a weird one, but aside from that it was all good, fun and interesting. Yeah, rushed, but we all know why. Seems that it's inevitable.
The Elusive Samurai - Panicked Yorishige is hilarious.

Fine:
Witch Watch
- That was a funny one. Nico is growing up.
Candy Flurry - So they are busted already, decent development.

Meh:
I tell C
