Magu chan has been in the magazine for almost a year. This should have already improved, even if relatively small. Roboko showed a greater improvement than magu chan.Phantom Seer wasn't "declining", it was at the bottom for nearly its entire run.
I never implied that Magu-chan wasn't doing well (it isn't, but just doing decently is a miracle these days), just that it isn't showing any kind of "phenomenal growth". Its growth is flat with a slight decline. But it's still doing well enough in the TOC to get a color page, just like Me & Roboco and HSF, so I'm happy for it. Doesn't really seem like there's any need to appeal to a mysterious metric we don't know of-- it's just the current trend.
Don't misunderstand, this has nothing to do with "settling to their placements". TES, ITC, WW, and KBP have already settled into their places: they pushed Magu down.
TES and WW replaced CM and WNL, which were both above Magu-chan. By that logic, Magu-chan should have kept the same placements. But it dropped by three.
I'm all for "giving it time", but keep in mind that in a few weeks C&D, ITC, and KBP will all be gone. At that point Magu comfortable position at the middle of the magazine will suddenly be the bottom of the magazine. But hey, there's still time for it to surprise us.
You guys keep talking about Phantom seer, but did you see that the 3rd volume sold more than Sakamoto days? Nothing against Sakamoto, but it is a shame that a canceled manga sells more than a manga that is being promoted.
And there is no way to say that WW replaced WNL because they are very different stories. Just as there is no way to compare TES and CM.
