It seems to be the case. Perhaps voting for a certain person is their second condition? I don't personally have such a condition, but my second condition, which I don't think is necessarily supposed to be confidential, is related to votes nonetheless.

I won't be here for the rest of the day phase. As a parting gift, my second personal gold condition is to have no votes at the end of a phase. I'm supposed to cash 250 gold if I manage to fulfill it. Howdy all. Been spending a lot of time with family and friends today and the mechanics list is rather lengthy, so it took a while for me to have time to sit down at a computer and read it all.

The mechanics seem interesting and, despite the length, are fairly easy to understand, however, the mechanics as I see them now are extremely mafia-favorable. Every single map nets the mafia big capability and/or, more notably, information advantages over town. The gold gains from map selection tend to be higher for town than mafia, but I suspect a good of the possible things gold allows townies to buy are abilities that can be misused while mafia map advantages are far more certain.

So, with that in mind, I have an active that's difficult to use. I'm hoping you guys have some very powerful townie roles because otherwise this uphill battle is going to be a rather brutal one.

Potentially brutal, but potentially interesting.

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised by the activity levels this Day 1. 4 pages, but so little actually said...

Maybe the low activity is due to a lot of people, like me, waiting til they sit down and give the mechanics a good read through before posting much and the mafia's ability to talk in DP right now isn't helping.

Still, I think I already have a decent sense of one or two players who're likely townie. On the other hand, finding mafia in this situation is particularly difficult.
