Both
Yozakura and
Cop & Dolphin feel like they are entering the climax. I don’t expect either of them to make it past summer. Though Yozakura at least will probably live another round.
Dr Stone: Called it. Though it can’t have been that long, since the previous timeskip already took us several years.
Mashle: That was great! Though it felt kinda short. But I’m really glad to see some new stuff here.
Blue Box: *snort* Well, at least this time he has sort of something to stress over (though she calls you by your first name too, dude). I’m rather liking the cynical best friend, too.
TES: … It would be cute if he was this worried about the boy. But the stress he puts on
his bloodline calls up images of World’s End Harem, and that’s.. not cute.
10. The Elusive Samurai: A new adventure begins! The most interesting part is the brief introduction of the new villain, someone that isn't afraid of playing dirty since it's the speciality of the Elusive Warriors (like that name btw). I have a problem though: I can't remember at all how the chapter ended.
They are suddenly surrounded and then cliffhanger.
It could’ve been more impactful.
Candy Flurry: Hmm. Didn’t really like this one. It’s a bit early for a full-blown manhunt, and it’s hard to tell where they are in relation to each other (she can hear her, so they must be pretty close..? But I thought she was going fast?). Guess we’ll see where it goes.
WW: Lost me again.
Roboco: I enjoyed the Dragon Ball references and some of the jokes, I guess, but I really don’t like Roboco and I can’t see her as a hero.
Sakamoto: Really nice story. Though it makes me wonder where he was between then and now.
AT: So being timid and cowardly is considered cute? No wonder Japan has a sexism problem. Someone wake me up when there’s plot again.
UU: That was very sweet and touching, and no doubt cathartic for Shen (but I have no idea what his plan is).
Ball Parade: The first one I didn’t mind (the joke about the one-sided rivalry worked well enough), but the little tagalong felt dragged-in. And then there’s the villain, who feels like a cross between Hisoka and the headmaster from AssClass… which is a shame, because none of the other characters are caricatures and this story doesn’t need a villain.
I tell c: Huh. I actually liked this chapter. The main characters are absent, which is already a big plus (and yes, that is a problem), and instead we get a genuine phantom thief case, with clever tricks and everything, and the duty detective is doing an actual (if not very successful) attempt to solve the case while acting like a sane human being.
… I guess I’m putting the bar a bit low here, but still. If all chapters were like this, it might’ve had a chance.
