so glad we have moved beyond Magu chan ending discussions, woot.

think we need a bit more comedy since comedy is hitting it off so well as of late.
So let's change the name Weekly shonen jump to Weekly comedy central.

We need manga with good sales, and not clog the magazine with comedies that don't sell.

Does anyone have an inkling what Horikoshi might be talking about?

This week's top 5:
1. Magu-chan: God of Destruction - Another super cute chapter this week. The hermit crabs getting the chance to shine again was another nice touch too. Gu La being a muscle-brain idiot is a funny touch too considering which human he wound up paired up with.
2. Mission: Yozakura Family - So much hype for this chapter, and the ending page where it was showing the villains was a nice touch too. Seeing the little wolf girl brought a tear to my eye. I can't wait to see what's in store next for the series.
3. I Tell C - Finally shifting the focus back on the main girl, and it was definitely worth the wait. I love how over-the-top she is about finding out every conceivable bit of information on her targets.
4. Me & Roboco - Another solid chapter of Roboco, which of course correlates perfectly with the main characters of the series barely being shown at all lol. The chapter was a bit fast-paced at times, but overall, Mutsuo is a really great friend.
5. Witch Watch - Another solid chapter this week. The character interactions seem to be much more enjoyable to watch than the magic shenanigans, so I hope the author keeps up the good work.

The best of the rest:
6. Undead Unluck - Wasn't expecting that development in the end, but it was certainly a very welcome surprise. I'm really interested to see how this is going to impact the shape of the cast from now on.
7. Candy Flurry - Definitely the best chapter of the series so far. I'm not sure if this series has what it takes to pull off series fight scenes, but maybe its humor may still have a chance.
8. Ayakashi Triangle - This week's chapter was decent. Solid fanservice, but nothing really happened in this particular chapter. However, there was quite a bit of setup for future chapters, so I'm quite interested.
9. Sakamoto Days - The beginning of the chapter was pretty good, but the ending of that fight was a bit too abrupt for my liking. I think the author still needs to work on the pacing and paneling of the fight sequences.
10. Mashle - The chapter was passable, but I'm at the point where I expect more from Mashle. I chuckled maybe once, but otherwise, the chapter didn't really do anything for me.
11. Blue Box - Another week, and it's still boring. Hopefully something interesting happens next week now that this introductory sequence seems to be wrapping up.
12. High School Family: Kokosei Kazoku - Such a strange chapter. I'm still not really a fan of the Gomez character whatsoever, and I can't really see that changing anytime soon.
13. Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin - One week closer to the inevitable ending!

Pretty good issue overall this week, standouts being Undead Unluck, JJK and Blue Box for me probably. Good Kowloon as well, really hope it can turn it around somehow, especially since we're finally starting the high school part.

Only standouts to me this issue was Magu-chan and Cop and Dolphin with extra kudos tossed Roboco's way, but thats understandable since Motsuo chapters are always top tier.

Mashle led the way in good action this week while HeroAca came across as a messy and slow, manga is kind of boring when its a Deku-only show. He just lacks personality and presence like Koichi.

We really live in a time when Magazine title can overcome One Piece in year rankings.

I mean OP only has one volume release for this half year and its backlog boost is not going to be there as its 24 years in and Tokyo Rev is the hottest anime of the past few months, its still nowhere close on per volume basis

The ridiculous gap between the first two and the rest is more noteworthy.

I guess Tokyo Revengers can lose its place if Chainsawman anime is somehow incredible at finding new folks. Otherwise, theres nothing left in jumps slate that can overcome Tokyo revengers doubling.
I don't think the CSM anime is coming out this year

One Piece at the bottom of the top is really a surprise.

Yozakura was pretty underwhelming, I thought Kawashita would put up more of a fight in the end, and the wrap up stuff went by fast. That line in the flashback makes me think things aren't ending here

Undead was great, the new negator reveal felt good

Mashle was alright, didn't really care for the main gag of the chapter or the action so I was a little bored. Reminded me of Beelzebub and Jojo at least, but felt kinda random

I like that we're moving into a new arc in Ayakashi, but most of the chapter was uncomfortably horny

Magu had a standard Magu chapter, nothing to really comment on it. I probably prefer chapters focused on the gods that don't try to incorporate too much of the cast

Dolphin continues it's solid streak, and it continues to blueball me with it's ending that feels like it's been due for months

Roboco was pretty good, had a nice message and the gags were solid, especially the Death Note stuff

HSF was kinda weak, especially considering it was a Gomez chapter. Really only laughed when he got out of the car

Sakamoto was a solid action chapter, not a lot to say

Elusive was great, I love these kind of strategic battles that it looks like we're going to get

Outside of the lesbian romance stuff, i tell c continues to be incredibly boring

Witch was great, nice gags and I'm actually pretty interested in the romance

Kowloon was good, glad to see them bounce back, but the timeskip reeks of the axe

Blue Box was great, the last panel has me very interested in next week

I had my doubts for an exam arc, but I'm kinda looking forward to it now after Candy this week. We'll see though

OP, MHA, and Dr Stone were all great. Looks like Dr Stone is moving into late game stuff, estimates for it to end next year seem pretty likely. Also Jump, please give Akutami a break
