I'm worried about Witch watch, it's always in the last 3, even if the manga is selling greatly

same and as Phantom Seer showed, good sales cant save low ranking series...

perhaps witch watch should just become Sket Dan except with magic, could get a few chapters of goofy stuff and solving random student requests for a while. would be fun.

Also i guess the cat girl is unlikeable since it seems ranking sank since her introduction, perhaps get her out of the plot.

I don't think it's impossible, since mashle, blue box and elusive sell over 100K, it could be that mashle will win an anime before yozakura.

I highly doubt that Witch Watch is in any kind of danger.
Excluding the first 2 chapters of promotion, WW have 5 CPs and another one is coming in the next issue.
The sales are strong too. It is just a manga which placement in the ToC can fluctuate.

I think WW should be published on Jump+, it's clear that those who are buying the manga are just shinohara fans.

he's clearly a writer who writes hit after hit, having multiple manga animated, jump would be foolish to lock him in an only only environment again.

Neru: Huh. This chapter got me pretty into it all of a sudden. Can’t tell why exactly, but the characterisation is still strong.

Red Hood: Just when I thought the exam was dragging too long, they come with this personal story. Which works quite well as a standalone, but I’m wondering how they are planning to work it into the larger story.

About the TOC...

• The placement of Witch Watch does not mean anything. Unlike Phantom Seer, the series is not in any immediate danger or else it wouldn't have gotten a color page. Witch Watch has literally been in the bottom half since Issue #26. This is just where it hangs out. Just like UU.
• Also, Ayakashi fans are "just Yabuki fans". This is not true of WW, which grew from 30K to 40K. This isn't an absurd growth by any means, but its enough that it's hard to argue that Witch Watch fans are "just Shirohara fans" at this point. There's no need to move it to Jump+ and there's no need to change the story.
• The placement of Magu-chan does not mean anything. It's not in immediate danger or else it wouldn't have gotten the color page. But the color page being "4th" means absolutely nothing. Color pages are unranked.

I almost posted a joke about "Magu-rise" and "WW-axe" when the TOC dropped yesterday, but I thought there was no way people would be ridiculous enough to make these claims for yet another week in a row.

Well, if WW were transferred to Jump+, clearly shinohara would have more rest time, as he could choose the periodicity that suits him best.
