We are 31 so 8 Mafias or 2 Teams of four? With that mechanic a TP is unlikely.

erm I doubt knowing the Scary Trinity Hosts, with a game this size. we probably will have 3 or maybe even 4 killing parties, i can see half of the players being scums, dont underestimate their madness
also that illusions mechanics, will make the game longer, since most of the dead people will still be playing. (imagine 1000 pages at the end of the game ) I'm afraid we signed up like for a month game !

Went back on tbe thread because of this part of your reply. It doesn't happen often. Sometimes you should/could delay a hint if your role is something that mafia would eliminate on spot.

Jesus gets legit countered by Shapeshifter, as do most roles. But that is because SS does not “kill“, hence he avoids trap roles and other kill conditions. Our mechanic does not turn killers into SS, but makes dead people become Illusions. So they still „die“ first, so I‘d assume trap roles still work. But that‘s more something mafia will be interested in asking the hosts.

Consider lynching top posters, it will get them out of the game immediately!!

The gist of it is that the players (illusions included) don't know who is an active living player and who is just an illusion until they scatter by being targetted by a night action. Obviously the killer will know who they targetted, but that's about it. If the illusion has an active role with a feedback PM by hosts, they can figure it out by not getting the response PM as well. So that's something to look out for.

If you're passive or don't get a PM with your own role, there's no way of telling.

Thanks for clarifying, Evil. If you realize this, are you allowed to bring it up openly? Though I guess claiming to be an illusion is a double-edged sword. Also do they still actively count as townie, or not? Like, let's say there are 4 townies but 3 are illusions. Would the mafia automatically win in that case?
