Really good issue this week, no bad chapters this week, and most series were at least above average
MHA was pretty good, despite my waning interest in the series this fight did catch my attention, mostly due to New Order being an interesting quirk. As predictable as it ended up mostly being, I did enjoy these past few chapters, if only Star was introduced earlier in the series.
Black Clover was great, strong emotional chapter for Yami. It's been such a long time since we've seen him
Dr Stone was pretty good, solid construction chapter setting up the internet
JJK was great, I liked the action (Yuji is just built different) and those last few pages were incredible. Really looking forward to the next chapter
Undead was pretty good, I like the game they're playing, and Fuuko gets to look cool
Mashle was good, nothing out of the ordinary for it, but it got some good laughs from me. Looking forward to the side cast getting some focus now
Ayakashi was pretty good, wasn't expecting the confession, so that's appreciated
It feels like it's been forever, but Magu was genuinely pretty good. The humor was nothing special, but the wholesome stuff at the end actually landed really well with me. If only it could've had moments like these earlier, because at this point nothing is really going to reignite my interest
Roboco was good, got some solid laughs, especially the Kodansha gag
HSF was pretty good, the chapter made good use of some of the minor characters, and Gomez gags usually land well
Sakamoto was pretty good, enjoying the fight, and Sakamoto's new style is interesting, even if I will miss skinny Sakamoto
Elusive was great, I like the strategies going on, and the twist at the end has me excited. Well deserved break next week
Witch was incredible, laughed from start to finish with all the tropes. I was wondering when the student council would show up
Blue Box was good, interesting development, hopefully it won't slow things down too much. Poor Hina at the end
As far as an axed end goes, I really liked Neru this week, especially that last spread. Pretty standard timeskip ending, but it was nice to see the cast together, even if I don't remember all of them. It helps that there wasn't a ton of big plot threads that needed to be quickly resolved. It's a shame it didn't catch on because I did enjoy it pretty consistently throughout, but it is what its is
P6 was really good, a whole chapter focused on Reijiro, exploring his relationship to his abilities, the people around him, and his family really made me feel bad for him. I can't believe this series is winning me over
Ayashimon was pretty good for a first chapter, but we'll have to see where it goes. I really like Kaku's art, and this series should hopefully allow for plenty of cool monster designs. I like the characters too, at least from what we've seen. I just worry that the protagonist is too overpowered, even if it is intentionally comically so. Interested to see how the plot takes shape. Fingers crossed for this one
