It looks like Ayakashi will be the one to suffer most at the toc with the lack of newcomers to serve as cushions

Anyone thinking this looks good for PPPPPP is dealing with recency bias. Red Hood and Neru ToC placements were such instant tank disasters that this looks decent by comparison. Its pattern is almost identical to Candy Flurry right now, it'll probably be in the bottom next week

Edit: I was one rank off with the Candy Flurry comparison but point is they're holding it in low-middle for a few issues before it inevitably drops to the bottom. We've seen this time and time again in the last year and I don't think it arbitrarily being held an extra issue just because they feel like having some other stuff in the bottom changes that

Seems like Black Clover is getting the same treatment as Bleach when its anime ended.
I also think that PPPPPP most probably will be in the bottom next week.

I'm really starting to worry about Ayakashi... and what's worst it didn't ever receive a cover until this moment despite the fact the selling are good (same for Witch watch, that I hope could receive soon the cover)

Gondaira was a monster this year, Yozakura had 13 issues with color pages, 4 of them being a regular cp + a double spread cp, also 2 covers:

#1
#8
#10 (Regular CP + Double Spread CP)
#15 (Regular CP + Double Spread CP)
#16
#18
#25 (Cover + Regular CP + Double Spread CP)
#30
#39
#43
#44 (Cover + Regular CP + Double Spread CP)
#50
#52

Not to mention a entire extra chapter, increased pages and the constant art quality rise during the year, of course i wish he doesn't overwork himself too much but also can't wait to see what he will do next year with a, almost sure, anime adaptation being announced

Almost, I say is getting the Reborn and Toriko treatment.

I give him another two year at most...

Finally, the great shake up?

AyaTri does seem to be teetering on the edge of danger, though we need a few more weeks to see if the trend holds. UU also has had scares this year with somewhat often low ranking, but I don't feel like it's in any real danger at the moment. As for BC...I can see why some readers might not have it as their vote-in week by week.

Anyway, it'll be very interesting to see which series will be permanent residents of the bottom 3 in the upcoming weeks.

lol you guys are jumping the gun waaay to fast because of some bottom placements, Mashle was literally dead last on #50. Series like Reborn, Bleach or Toriko had their anime finished and got nothing more until the end, Black Clover has a theater movie being produced that we still knows nothing about it, we also dont know what are the talks behind the scene about the anime future, that i doubt Tv Tokyo and Shueisha are not interested in continue, basically BC still a active multimedia franchise, theopposite of the mentioned series.

Btw, about AyaTri, still saying the same, it will not be a long series but it will be over 100ch and get a anime.

Let's say that at present the film is the only thing that could revive the fortunes of Black Clover.

And it's not even a hit. Nanatsu's first film was a half flop. And we talk about a manga that saw a lot more.

Whether it is a multi-franchise success, I doubt it. Black Clover at the end has its best takings thanks to the music of the anime.

Quartet Knight was also a half flop ..

Shinuki, we've seen a lot of manga that ended before the anime started (Jigokuraku and chainsaw man).

So there's no need to stretch a manga to the beginning of anime.

Not everyone has the patience to keep following a story with more than 400 chapters. As well, not all authors manage to maintain the quality of manga for so long.

Honestly I never expected Black Clover to last that long to begin with. I know Tabata said he wanted to go as long as Naruto or whatever, but obviously that was never going to happen. First of all it's not really big enough to justify that and tt was also before he really knew the grind of a long-runner, he probably would appreciate some rest at this point.

There's also not that many ways to naturally extend itself anymore. Regardless of ToC placements, I'd say we're likely to say goodbye to Black Clover alongside MHA and JJK.

Jigokuraku and chainsaw man
arent those vastly successful series that cleatly ended when the author wanted. not everyone plans a 10 year epic saga.

And that's why so many manga endings are so hated.

I see a lot of criticism regarding the endings of Naruto, Bleach, Fairy tail and others.

The longer it takes to finish a manga, the worse the ending.
