So then it's pretty much confirmed that this isn't Jack next to Queen and King? Since he was only 8 at the time of this flashback, and he didn't look anything like that as a kid (improbable as it already was that he'd be that large).

Wings are more like Birkan wings. Lunarians probably related to Birkans, if not one and the same. The clothes look most similar to the figure with Birkan wings in Enel's cover story, too.

Either way, both Skypieans and Birkans are from the Moon anyway, so Lunarians being connected to them is not surprising, 'Luna' meaning 'moon' and all.

Aww, the Baby Roppo are pretty cute. I think this may be my favorite batch of those types of doodles.

King's garbs are highly reminiscent of the usual Skypian style, so it seems like he was with his people before getting captured. Either the Lunarians going extinct was a recent thing or they're just hidden across the Grand Line and King's home was just unlucky enough to have been found.

They can't be the same thing, Lunarians have black wings and are born with incredibly powerful abilities. Birkans as we know em have white wings and are basically human otherwise. Maybe Birkans are an offshoot of Lunarians?

Lunarians being a special race of the moon people is interesting. Like, the original race which the others stem from? A "bastard race" which was cast down to the blue sea? Similar race from a different moon? Intriguing.

What interests me is that the Lunarians, who seem more alien and "pure", but are as far as we know "native" to the Red Line, while Birkans who are far more human-like are "native" to the sky islands, but both are seemingly descended from the moon. I wonder if Oda would redraw those murals on the moon now he'd include hints to the Lunarians? Or maybe there's already hints in there?

Why should that not be Jack? The mini pics from sbs never give a concrete age. Doflamingo also differed from his flashback appearances and was probably even lighting a spliff (because that's a thick cigarette) in the SBS, something that couldn't have made it into the Manga.

Dellinger got a 15M bounty as a little kid. His foster Mom, Giolla, didn't get one despite having the second most powerful Devil Fruit in the entire crew. Clearly Dellinger was judged for the danger he represents.

Now Jack is leagues above Dellinger in terms of strenght and potential. And he is 8m tall as an adult. Meaning he must already have been 5m something as a kid.

Something like this is very plausible:

King: 600M
Queen: 450M
Jack: 200M

And this could have been the Calamities 20 years ago. Entirely reasonable.

I miss when Oda included some of the really goofy gag stuff in the actual manga. Like I'm glad we still get it in the SBS's, but triangle-for-a-crotch is something that would absolutely have been in East Blue.

That was already confirmed some years back, in an SBS around Zou I think. Someone asked how a devil fruit user like him survived under water or something. Even though his devil fruit made him an anchor, being a fishman meant he could still breathe.

Yeah, I knew Jack was a fishman beforehand. Though I don’t think it was ever stated Sasaki was.

They were talking about the idea that Sasaki is a fishman (and likely the son of Kokoro and father of Chimney). Since we all know Jack is a fishman, seeing the gill marks on his shoulder area seemingly the same as Sasaki's marks, gives some credence to the idea.

One thing that bothers me with the theory of Jack being present during the Kaido vs Oden fight is that Jack never recognised Inu and Neko as being one of the Akazaya when he invaded Zou.
