That was a long fight to be honest. 3 chaps max against Ren. Baam barely made a chapter in his fight against Gado or the Canine HR he just air palm 0 with.

So first thing full chap is about baam vs ren fight,
Chap started with ren attacked baam at firs,caught his one hand, baam use shinsu blast with another hand and attacked him, next attack baam hand sucked up (don't know maybe one of ren's abilities) and convert to an girl like figure that have shinsu properties ,Chapter ends with lillial went out after killing that muscle guy

It's not like wounded actually it's more like absorbed, there is no blood split from baam ,it's like it's a blast and take a form of a girl from the part by which ren catch him

Basically, Ren has a special parasite inside him, there are two entities, both are Ren, but they distinguish themselves as Ren (male) and Ring (female).

I still don't get the psychology of this season.

A childish monster who is a mere ranker is trying to kill you. You the irregular, boast your power oozing with 2 administrators and 1 family leader's former pokemon or something. You the ranker, still insist that the person is a mere regular and proceeded to fight him.

The irregular you fought is struggling for literally no reason and is pulling a bunch of unnecessary skills for literally no reason. That man could've just air smacked you just like what he did against strong and ferocious High Rankers he fought.

But if he's trying not to kill you, a ranker, out of mercy, which is also makes no sense. And the whole fight took 2 chapters after a huge war he just fought.

It boils down to 'SIU had a bunch of 'cool' ideas for Ren's skillset and he was going to put them on display no matter what.'

And if that makes Baam look like a doofus, then that's just something he's willing to do. It's the Kaiser fight all over again.
