Don't get what you are trying to say here. But some of us already said that Gustang had planted a gate inside Holan when really it was Khun's "C ranked better than your average joe ranker lightbearer" lighthouse that held the warp factor. I just really wanted Holan to explode after turning inside out. that would have been amazing.

Nice chapter my prediction was mostly right, trau and Gus have been playing chess this whole time, Gus showed up sooner than expected and he is calling out trau, guess he wants to negotiate cause he could easily kill the two bh and leave with bam, exciting to see what happens next week.

Liked Yuri saying she can't just attack BH subtle nod to the politics at play, lizard shinheuh is funny to me poor badger got creeped out, cha is fairly strong so those BH aren't pushovers, too bad Gus showed up so soon wanted to see some more abilities.

Hopefully Gus and trau exchange a couple attacks, to see if there is any real power gap between them which I doubt, I wouldn't be surprised if Gus and trau were working together, for guys who claiming to capture Bam they could careless about actually guarding or escaping with him, more invested in gloating.

The subject was why Yuri didn't hesitate to attack Holan at the hotel and escaping the mothership with Bam but hesitated to fight BH (Yuri: "It becomes a problem if I touch the Branch Head here!").

Baam said himself that he's weaker than Jinsung and that if he fought White again, he would lose.

Baam can't access the Dark Change powers on command, and without it, he's weaker than Jinsung, Cha and probably Yuri.

he is being polite to his master, baam easily neutralised the owl when jinsung was struggling with the shadow power even without going berserk baam is a top 100 if he use everything, going berserk like he did against white put him juste behind the FH...

I don't see the point of comparing the two. All I am saying is that he appearing here isn't particularly impressive. What I want to see is what happens next.

I guess they are comparable in the sense we either give Rei accolades for being a master strategist or we don't.

Rei being the best at chess, better than even Gustang himself, was used to imply that he has it all under control even when it looks like it's spiraling out of hand.

"Relax, I'm a little ancient prodigy, and I even knew what you were up to!"

Meanwhile, Gustang keeps shitting on his efforts. A few here were blown away by Rei winning chess against a reg (even a Khun) and knowing more than he seemed. It's his own backyard, I'd hope so. Guess he didn't know as much as he thought though.

I sure hope nothing as boring and contrived as that. The usefulness and novelty of games wore off once the Tower climb itself took a backseat to the greater story.

I’d imagine Traumerei absolutely has to appear - he basically just lost in a tactics game vs Gustang and he strikes me as a sore loser.
Though out of the pan and into the fire.

Gustang has been planning this all since Enne(possibly even before she went crazy) and long before Baam even entered the tower. He was the one that gave Fug a thorn frag in the first place. When Zahard issued the 3 orders, Gustang's plans didn't change. He just openly declared his intentions instead of working from the shadows. Zahard sent loyal dog Rei in efforts to weaken Gustang. He never counted on Baam's resolve to enter the nest and he certainly didn't count on Rei 's tourney.

Finally something interesting happening, Traumerei should learn how to act properly from Gustang. I hope they fight each other at least a little.
If they do fight, I got the feeling Gustang is gonna obliterate Traum's pets and expose that his controlling emo pet mom behavior is due to his inferiority complex for being an unlovable weakling to his peers.

One thing I find weird though, is that ever since we've got on LPB mothership, it's like nobody is living there.

We've seen a few dozens of people, mostly nonames and... that's it.

Even weirder, we've seen high graded people before their minions.
No LPB inhabitants, regulars (hard for me to count the 2 chicks that died earlier) or even rankers (the dragonfly doesn't exist in my world as with hindsight, that character was totally useless).

We've seen 3 BH so far, with random presentation.
We've even met a great tamer before lower ranks.

So maybe SIU saves some mystery for the war, even though it would be weird after showing the cream of the crop in (kinda weak) action.

They weren't in the mothership, they were in a hotel. I think the name is Viridis Parus.

Maybe it's due to the hotel being destined to higher ranking people and/or being reserved for Baam and a few more for the moment. I particularly am glad we are not getting more Wang Wangs in the story, SIU is having enough trouble acommodating High Rankers in the story, Khun and the other Regular Waifus™ are already enough to disturb the power display. There were also some fodder made exclusively for Tiara to slaughter.
