I would love nothing more to be wrong about Rei's competence. Would give me hope that the other FHs are not jokes as well. Would also give me hope for Luslec as he is the type of person that "if he moves the other FH will move.' And as a storyteller I would give props to SIU for an amazing fake out. But so far all Rei has done is show how much of an embarrassment he is, much like your comments about Gustang.

I can buy traumerei anticipating gustang showing up. If anything it should be fairly clear that gustang was at play here since aguero showed up with a PB princess of all people. but... why or how would gustang be right where trau wants him? What can traumerei do to gustang right now? Back in the day we were told arlene couldn't even kill herself. If traumerei and gustang fight it's probably two unkillable people throwing shiny explosions at each other forever until an administrator shows up. Which I assume is why traumerei is jumping through hoops to get a lock on bam, to direct his thorn at gustang.

In turn, gustang showed up... and demands to speak with traumerei? Rather than take bam or destroy traumerei's family or rescue tiara? Ok, neither gustang nor traumerie care about the trifles or worms but unless gustang is up to even more shenanigans the main point of contention here is bam and what gustang is doing at the LPB mothership specifically pertains to bam.

I know what you mean, the chapters are so boring and uninteresting sometimes, possibly even repulsive. This is the new normal, something we've never experienced before in S1/S2, and it just keeps getting worse. It's hard and annoying to criticize the chapters because what you perceive as wrong is shrugged off by the people rating chapters 9/10 or 10/10 every time. If you have so many inconsistencies in every arc, it's no longer an inconsistency in a relative period of time like season 3 or the last 2 arcs. It is seen as normal. some of us are so used to this crap writing that we don't see how good TOG used to be.

Traumerei's therapy session with Leviathan about forgetting the things he wants to forget is indeed very effective.

In one panel (Yas flashback after the Great War), he says he's used to being betrayed. On the other (this chapter), he says he's never been betrayed because he's never trusted anyone. A clear contradiction (out of many that his character has) that is explained by the erased memories. Just found it interesting to post it.

I didn't understand like that. Basically he is always betrayed, however they always end up dying for him, not least because he doesn't trust anyone..... also because he knows everything, at least, what is in his control. If not, it doesn't make any sense.

Baam can't access the Dark Change powers on command, and without it, he's weaker than Jinsung, Cha and probably Yuri.

Well, yeah, my post is consistent with that.

We don't know what gustang's ultimate goal with bam is. Gustang has been pretty active in bam's development since the workshop battle, it sounds pretty unlikely he doesn't have an agenda with bam.

It's unclear how much gustang does or doesn't care for his family. The most likely scenario is that he feels no more for them than traumerei does. remember back at the hell floor? Gustang pretty much mocked urek for feeling feelings towards the tiny worthless souls in his hand.
